Busting the Obamabots
This week, the Democrats have treated the nation - and especially the border states - to an appalling spectacle. During a state visit by the President of Mexico, the Democrats gave him a standing ovation when he spoke before a joint session of Congress and slammed Arizona's security law. On top of that, President Obama's hand-picked head of Immigration & Customs Enforcement, John Morton, said that the federal government might not process illegal aliens picked up in Arizona. This statement is in direct conflict with his organization's stated federal mission of enforcing the law. Morton's statement reflects his boss' attitude toward the rule of law, and it's appalling. A president who actually wanted to unite the nation would fire Morton immediately and replace him with someone who cares more about national security than politics. But that's not what this president is up to, behind the scenes.

Here in Texas, the Austin city council voted to boycott Arizona (but not California, which has had a similar security law on the books for years, and not the federal government, which has had a similar law in place since 1940). But that silly boycott apparently isn't popular - letters to the Austin American-Statesman's editors from citizens are running strongly against the boycott. So President Obama's political action army, Organizing for America, is trying manufacture fake support for the boycott. They've been caught red-handed trying to create an impression of support in Austin, and they're probably trying the same shady tricks elsewhere.
Organizing for America works for the Democratic National Committee, and ultimately for the President of the United States. Their divisive astroturf war against national security is probably being waged on his orders, and it's a disgrace.
