WATCH: 49ers Nick Bosa Does ‘Trump Dance’ After a Sack – and Your Next President Was Loving It

San Francisco 49ers defensive end Nick Bosa, who was just fined by the National Football League (NFL) for crashing a post-game interview while wearing a "Make America Great Again" hat, seemed to hit back at the league with a little sack celebration on the field Sunday.

Bosa took down Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield with just under six minutes left in the fourth quarter. The play resulted in a 10-yard loss for the Bucs and came on a crucial third down with the 49ers up by just a field goal. The Bucs were forced to punt.

More important than any of that — more important than San Fran getting a vitally important win to climb back over .500, or getting back within half a game of the NFC West lead and creating momentum to potentially get back to the Super Bowl after a slow start — was Bosa's reaction.

That's right, the most important thing that happened to their entire season came after Bosa dropped Mayfield. He whipped out the legendary "Trump dance."

What an absolute unit this guy is.

And do you know who else noticed how awesome the dance was? It appears President-elect Donald Trump did, taking a moment on his Truth Social media platform to celebrate Bosa.

"NICK BOSA IS A GREAT PLAYER!" he wrote.

Indeed, he is. Maybe not a great dancer, but the man certainly has the moves down on the gridiron.

Bosa is poised to reach double digits in sacks again this season, having done so in each of his previous three. He had a high of 18.5 sacks in 2022 when he was named NFL Defensive Player of the Year.

The 49ers defender seems emblematic of the mood of the rest of the nation's attitude toward Trump. Where once many of the former president's supporters were reluctant to voice their support in public for fear of recriminations, a nation weary of the left-wing assault on their values and freedom was singing Trump's praises loud and proud heading into the election.

And they've been singing them ever-louder since his historic victory.

Bosa was one of them. Just two days ago, he was fined by the NFL for wearing a hat with a pro-Donald Trump message during a postgame television interview during a game before Election Day.

They hit his wallet for $11,255 — a substantial amount — for violating the NFL uniform and equipment rules for wearing a hat that contained a personal message. Go ahead and do a search for players who were fined for wearing BLM hats or t-shirts. Take your time, I'll wait.

NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell had no problems with George Floyd's name appearing on uniforms — specifically on their helmets — during games but put their foot down on any pro-law enforcement displays.

In 2016, in what would have been a direct counter-argument to the supposed police brutality issue, the Dallas Cowboys were forbidden from wearing decals honoring fallen members of the Dallas Police Department.

The Cowboys had requested an opportunity to commemorate those who fell victim to the Dallas shooting in July of 2016, in which officers — particularly white officers — were specifically targeted.

For his part, Bosa indicated he has no regrets over the MAGA hat incident or the fine. And took a moment to celebrate Trump's win in his comments.

"It was well worth it," he bragged. "I don’t think my position on speaking about it is going to change, so clearly the nation spoke. We got what we got."

We got what we got, and it's enough to make anybody want to dance.
