Citizens Oppose Preferential Tuition Rates for Illegal Aliens

Marylanders, frustrated with a bill granting in-state college tuition rates to some illegal immigrants, have launched a petition drive to send the measure to voters.
Parrott and his team set up www.mdpetitions.com, where petition supporters can print out copies and read instructions on how to collect signatures.
The goal is to get enough signatures from registered voters to put the tuition measure on the 2012 general election ballot for voters to decide. They need 18,500 signatures by the end of May and about 58,000 signatures by the end of June – the latter representing 3 percent of Maryland’s voters.
“The people of Maryland are upset this bill passed. They’re upset because they thought illegal means illegal,” said Del. Neil Parrott, R-Washington County, who is running the petition effort.http://www.usbc.org/destroying-america/immigration-news/citizens-oppose-preferential-tuition-rates-for-illegal-aliens/
