Watch: Leftists' Despicable Disruption of MN Lincoln-Reagan Event. It May Have Helped GOP.

Watch: Leftists' Despicable Disruption of MN Lincoln-Reagan Event. It May Have Helped GOP.

Minnesota Republicans held their annual Lincoln-Reagan Dinner in Eagan on Friday.

Among the people in attendance were Senate candidate Michelle Tafoya,

47 Days and Counting to Midterms, GOP's Tafoya Makes a Compelling Case for Winning MN

Minnesota House Speaker and gubernatorial candidate Lisa Demuth, and former Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker, who was a featured speaker.

Demuth was speaking at the dinner when leftist activists disrupted the event.

One of them was holding a banner that said "RepubliKKKan Party," and she started screaming as the security tried to remove her and a male activist from the room.

So if you wondered how they got in, according to Lindsey Brown of KSTP, one of her sources said they bought tickets that cost $200-250 each.

How gross, and frankly, despicable. What gall to wave such a sign around, not only at a "Lincoln-Reagan" dinner, but to wave it at Demuth, who is black and who is the first black person to be a party nominee for governor in the state.

Minnesota GOP Chair Alex Plechash blasted the protesters Saturday in a statement for using "a symbol of racial terror at a Black woman leader, at a dinner named for the president who ended slavery."

Plechash said the symbols "still have no place anywhere, least of all aimed at a Black woman seeking the highest office in our state."

Eagan police said officers told eight people to leave. It's not clear whether any criminal charges will be pursued.

Minnesota House GOP Leader Harry Niska commented on the disruption: "This kind of action is despicable, and it’s turning into a pattern of hateful rhetoric and disruption from extreme far-left Democrats."

Fortunately, no one was hurt in the chaos, and the Republicans carried on despite the temporary disruption.

The good news? If each of the eight people who were asked to leave paid at least $200, that's a $1,600 contribution to the Republicans. Thanks, you leftists! Hopefully, it's put to good use to defeat Democrats in November.

The Essex Files: Sydney Sweeney, Cultural Police, and the Selective Rules of Empowerment

The Essex Files: Sydney Sweeney, Cultural Police, and the Selective Rules of Empowerment

Sydney Sweeney, the breakout star of "Euphoria," does not need a permission slip from cultural critics to decide how she appears in an advertisement. Neither does every provocative campaign deserve applause. Those two propositions should coexist in a country that values individual freedom.

Her latest Novig commercial has reopened a dispute over sexuality, sports and who gets to define empowerment. Fox News reports that Sweeney appears topless, covering herself with footballs, after an earlier campaign drew objections from prominent female athletes.

The criticism deserves a hearing. Olympic swimmer Ariarne Titmus called the original advertisement a “kick in the face” to women who have devoted their lives to sports. Gymnast Gracie Kramer objected to marketing through the male gaze. Their concern is understandable: athletic achievement should not become an afterthought beside a celebrity selling a betting platform.

But an advertisement featuring an actress is not a census of female athletes. Sweeney is selling a product, not submitting a thesis about what every woman should look like. Treating her appearance as an indictment of women’s sports gives a commercial more authority than it deserves.

The more interesting question is whether our cultural standards are consistent. Public conversations often celebrate transgender visibility and women with larger, fatter bodies as expressions of confidence and inclusion. Those principles should not suddenly narrow when a conventionally attractive down-to-earth woman chooses to emphasize her sexuality.

That comparison does not prove that Sweeney’s particular critics are hypocrites. The reporting establishes their objections, not their positions on every other representation of gender or beauty. Still, the principle matters: Inclusion cannot mean welcoming every image except the one fashionable opinion finds insufficiently progressive.

Sweeney also pointed to athletes who posed nude for ESPN’s Body Issue, including Serena Williams and Megan Rapinoe. Artistic portraits and gambling advertisements are different products. But the distinction requires an argument, not an automatic assumption that one woman’s exposure expresses strength while another’s diminishes everyone else.

Strong women are needed in sports, business, and public life. Strength includes the ability to make choices that other people dislike. It also includes the right to criticize those choices without demanding that everyone adopt the same taste.

That freedom applies to clothing, too. A Muslim woman who voluntarily covers herself exercises the same liberty as a woman who does not. Compelling women to cover through law, intimidation, or religious coercion violates the American principle of individual freedom. The objection is to compulsion, not to Muslims or modesty.

Nor should we enlist Sweeney as a political spokeswoman without evidence. This advertisement establishes nothing about her private convictions. The American value worth defending here is her freedom to choose, not an ideology assigned to her appearance.

I would rather see less cultural policing and more consistent judgment. Question the gambling promotion. Debate the imagery. Respect the athletes’ accomplishments. But leave room for a woman to be attractive, commercially ambitious, and unapologetic without turning her into a public emergency crisis. Freedom means tolerating choices we would not make ourselves, not merely celebrating those that already fit our preferences. Consistency matters.

Bill Maher Latest Trump Revelation Will Probably Cause Another Wave of Liberal Meltdowns

Bill Maher admits he respects Trump for seeing him as rival, trying to block his award | 930 WFMD Free Talk

Bill Maher has been shredding Democrats, their politics, and their ‘woke’ antics for months. It’s to the point where he feels he might be compelled to vote Republican in 2028 if they don’t jettison communism. Yet, for now, he might be going back to the White House for dinner. He received another invitation from President Trump, which he disclosed during his podcast with Ari Emanuel, a media executive and Larry David’s agent (via Fox News):

SHOCKING: Bill Maher reveals President Trump just INVITED him back for a second White House dinner. “[President Trump] just, out of the blue, ‘let's have dinner again.’ I was like, ‘great.’ And he was, like, really nice. Like, ‘I promise I won't say bad things about you like I did the last time.’ And I texted back and I said, ‘you know what? You're the president of the United States. Say whatever the f*ck you want. I'm just glad we're talking.’”

Liberal comedian Bill Maher revealed on Monday that he's having dinner with President Donald Trump again.

"I'm having dinner with him again next week," Maher told famed Hollywood agent and executive Ari Emanuel during a conversation on Maher's "Club Random" podcast.

"After the first dinner, I went back to doing what I do... But then, like, he just, out of the blue, let's have dinner again. And I was like, great. And he was really nice," Maher said. "Like, I promise I won't say bad things about you like I did the last time.' And I texted back, and I said, 'You know what, you're the president of the United States. Say whatever the f--- you want. I'm just glad we're talking.' It's like being called a 'hockey puck' by Don Rickles. It's just what he does. It's how he talks."

Both Maher and Emanuel agreed it's better to talk with those they disagree with than not. Emanuel, who previously represented Trump when he hosted "The Apprentice," told Maher he had spoken with the president on that Monday.

Emanuel has also spoken with Trump, which led to Maher taking a swipe at Larry David, who penned an op-ed in The New York Times attacking Maher for attending the first dinner, likening it to dining with Hitler. Maher goes, Larry has a meltdown. His agent speaks to Trump, and there’s silence:

Bill Maher exposes Larry David’s hypocrisy by SLAMMING him for the “Hitler” op-ed over their Trump dinner, while David says nothing when his own agent TALKED to POTUS. Bill Maher: “It's so interesting to me that Larry David, I'm like, I'm the devil because I talk to him, but his own agent just talked to him on Monday.” Ari Emanuel: “Listen, this is your stick with him.” Bill Maher: “I know, but you must recognize the hypocrisy there. Somehow when it's his own agent doing the exact same thing, then we don't play the Hitler card. We don't [hate to] play the Hitler card. Just admit that. It's true.”

The Media Had a Total Meltdown Over the Ilhan Omar Raid

The Media Had a Total Meltdown Over the Ilhan Omar Raid

On Monday, Rep. Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) home was raided by federal agents. It has to do with her immigration status. Some documents are reportedly out of whack, and the timeline matters because it played a role in her naturalization process. It must be significant since a judge picked by D.C. Democrats signed off on the warrants. And raiding the home of a sitting member of Congress is a high bar, with most judges not wanting such legal tangles coming across their desks.

The media were so mad Monday about this raid, but it’s you people who keep saying no one is above the law. Deal with it:

🚨 WOW! CNN is having a FULL-BLOWN ON-AIR MELTDOWN after Somali Rep. Ilhan Omar got her house raided by DHS Dana Bash: "She's right! She has been a target of President Trump!" CNN is AGREEING with Omar calling this raid weaponization 🤡 Yet were FULLY ON BOARD with the persecution of Donald J. Trump before the 2024 election AND have practically NOTHING to say about Biden's FBI tracking Barron as a minor! A judge signed off on this, and it's in the D.C. AREA. Trump, Mullin, and Blanche can't unilaterally do this. CNN just worried Omar will finally be deported!

— Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) October 12, 2026

IRONY ALERT: MS NOW’s Ken Dilanian complains the DHS-led raid of Ilhan Omar’s home is “a very, very intrusive search” of her “personal property” “Omar is a long-standing opponent of President Trump, has been targeted on the right for a long period of time. She’s a sitting member of Congress with certain privileges around the Speech and Debate Clause.”

— Curtis Houck (@CurtisHouck) October 12, 2026

🚨 NOW: CNN is STUNNED after federal agents raided Somali Rep. Ilhan Omar's home PRE-DAWN They can't believe their eyes! 😂 "This is a sitting member of Congress running for reelection!" "It's so close to an election!" "It is unusual." ARE THEY SERIOUS? They act like 2024 didn't happen. CNN is now angry that the DOJ is enforcing the law just because an election is coming...UNBELIEVABLE And they justified the persecution of Donald J. Trump KEEP INVESTIGATING! She's not above the law!

— Eric Daugherty (@EricLDaugh) October 12, 2026

Townhall’s @LarryOConnor absolutely destroys CNN over its coverage of the raid involving Ilhan Omar. Absolutely brutal. https://t.co/dET4jN9OIb

— Dustin Grage (@GrageDustin) October 12, 2026

CNN’s Jake Tapper had Skye Perryman on to discuss the case, where the latter said it was driven by partisanship, racism, and xenophobia. Nope, nope, and nope. Perryman is a Marc Elias acolyte.

Jake Tapper "analysis" on the Omar story with his guest Skye Perryman. Who is Perryman? The CEO of Marc Elias' lawfare outfit Democracy Forward. That's right. So guess how this went: Tapper: "Seems rather vindictive." Perryman: "Partisan. Racism. Xenophobia." Tapper: "It doesn't look like a legitimate law enforcement action." Legacy Media's coverage of this story fully explained in less than 40 seconds.

— Western Lensman (@WesternLensman) October 13, 2026

Forget that the FBI was spying on the Trump campaign, tracking Susie Wiles’ phone calls and those of other Trump officials. The Jack Smith probes were all politically motivated, so we don’t care that you’re mad. Deal with it. You also can't do anything about it. Again, a liberal judge okayed the raid.

"Not only did immigration agents raid Ilhan Omar's home, they did it on Columbus Day." https://t.co/pSHYALDLiN

Musk donates $276M to GOP in massive midterms push, marking largest political donation in U.S. history

Elon Musk, the CEO of SpaceX and the wealthiest person in the world, has reportedly contributed $276 million to Republican political groups since July, according to a spokesperson.

America PAC is a political action committee founded by Musk in 2024 to support Republican candidates and conservative ballot initiatives. Powered by hundreds of millions of dollars in personal funding from Musk, the organization focuses primarily on large-scale voter canvassing and targeted digital media campaigns.

Ahead of the midterms, Musk is the largest known donor, contributing $158 million to the Senate Leadership Fund this summer. The donation ranks among the largest political contributions in United States history, as first reported by The New York Times and later confirmed by Andrew Romeo, a spokesperson for Musk’s super PAC.

After pouring more than $76 million into America PAC this summer, Musk saw those funds directed into a sprawling canvassing program targeting hard-to-reach Republican voters.

Beyond his major contributions to America PAC and the Senate Leadership Fund, Musk has also funneled substantial sums into several other conservative organizations, including:

  • $20 million to the Congressional Leadership Fund, the main super PAC for House Republicans
  • $10 million to Lone Star Liberty PAC, a group supporting Texas GOP Senate hopeful Ken Paxton (R-Texas.)
  • $10 million to the Republican Governors Association
  • $2 million to the Republican Attorneys General Association

The massive spending marks a sharp reversal from last May, when Musk said he planned to scale back his political contributions, stating, “I think I’ve done enough.”

The Tesla CEO’s substantial financial contributions exemplify his support for President Donald Trump and Republican candidates in the midterms. His super PAC has also confirmed plans to remain active in the 2028 presidential race, positioning Musk to continue playing a major role in Republican politics.

Musk’s massive donation follows President Trump awarding the National Medal of Science to Musk and other tech executives on Thursday.

Democrats’ Fury Over Sen. John Fetterman Is Driving Voters to GOP

NEW: Republicans say they'd happily welcome Sen. John Fetterman to the GOP if he ever decides to leave the Democratic Party. Senate Majority Leader John Thune says the Pennsylvania Democrat would be

Sen. John Fetterman’s surprise video at the Republican midterm convention has turned a simmering quarrel into a stove‑top blaze. The cameo, followed by President Donald Trump openly saying he’d like to recruit Fetterman, has Democrats scrambling. What was meant to be a one‑minute clip about working with rivals quickly became a test of party discipline — and political common sense.

GOP cameo that set off alarm bells

In a pre‑recorded message, Senator John Fetterman told the GOP crowd he’s “a common‑sense Democrat” who rejects “the extremes and socialism.” He praised Republican Sen. Dave McCormick as someone who “gets the job done.” That was enough to send Democrats into a fury. Leaked staff texts, complaints about office culture and a stream of angry statements made the video more than a stunt — it became a flashpoint. Fetterman later insisted he is a lifelong Democrat, but the optics already did a lot of damage.

Trump’s recruit pitch — and why it matters

President Donald Trump didn’t waste time saying he’d love to have Fetterman join the GOP. That public invitation changes this from gossip to strategy. Polling shows Fetterman enjoys unusually high favorables among Pennsylvania Republicans, so the White House smells opportunity. For Republicans, a defection would be the political jackpot. For Democrats, it would be a reputational disaster — if they shove moderates out the door, who’s left to defend the party in swing states?

Democrats’ knife fight risks stabbing themselves

The reflex among some Democrats has been to attack, not to cajole. Calls of “disgrace” and public shaming are flying. That’s politics, sure, but it’s bad politics here. When a party’s response to a popular centrist is to pounce, it tells fence‑sitters they don’t belong. The result? You either drive him toward the GOP or you turn off voters who like independence. If Democrats want to keep seats in Pennsylvania and elsewhere, they should learn to tolerate a few mavericks — or stop complaining when moderates look for friends across the aisle.

Senate math and the bigger lesson

The practical stakes are real: if Democrats can’t hold together enough votes, one senator’s decision could change control of the Senate. That makes the Fetterman drama more than a soap opera. It’s a warning sign about a party that risks narrowing its own tent. Moderate voters still make up a big share of Americans. If Democrats keep chasing the activist base and rejecting anyone who won’t march in lockstep, they’ll keep losing swing states and maybe lose even more than one senator. In short: savage internal fights make for great headlines, but lousy electoral strategy.

45-Second Clip Backfires as Talarico Lindner Claim Collapses

A short, spicy audio clip set off a political firestorm this week — and then fizzled when the rest of the tape and the hospital itself told a very different story. Conservatives rushed to share a 45‑second excerpt that claimed Texas state Representative James Talarico was secretly treated at the Lindner Center of Hope in Ohio. But the Lindner Center, fact‑checkers and the full recording say the clip was edited and the claim falls apart.

What the audio actually shows — and what it doesn’t

The viral post, pushed by influencers including Nick Sortor and Rhein Amacher, featured a short excerpt that made it sound like a Lindner Center staffer confirmed someone “was just discharged.” That line was the hook. Trouble is, journalists who obtained the longer recording say the caller lied about his identity, supplied a fake verification code and pressured staff for information. The longer tape shows the staffer initially could not find anyone by the name the caller gave. Then the Lindner Center itself stepped forward and posted bluntly: “Representative James Talarico has never received treatment from Lindner Center of Hope.”

Why reporters and fact‑checkers called it misleading

Multiple outlets — including the Associated Press, PolitiFact and Lead Stories — reviewed the evidence and concluded the short clip does not prove what its boosters claimed. Reporters pointed out timeline problems, too: Talarico made public appearances during the period in question that don’t match the “just discharged” narrative. In short, there is no verified patient record, no staffer on the record corroborating the viral excerpt, and the full audio undercuts the edited snippet’s apparent authority.

Politics, privacy and responsibility

Still, this mess teaches three useful lessons for conservatives who care about winning the argument honestly. First, the Texas Senate race is a bloodsport: Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton’s allies seized on the gap in Talarico’s campaigning and amplified the clip for political gain. Second, health and medical claims are sensitive; privacy rules and ethics matter — which is why the Lindner Center’s categorical denial was unusual but necessary once the clip blew up. Third, edited audio is clickbait, not evidence. If you’re going to accuse a candidate of hiding a mental‑health episode, produce something stronger than a sliced 45‑second sound bite and a social post.

Call it what it is: a political stunt that failed basic verification. Conservatives should be glad the claim didn’t hold up — but we should also be annoyed with ourselves for amplifying sloppy “evidence.” If voters want to know why a candidate missed events, ask the question directly. Demand receipts. And remember: honest fights win respect; viral half‑clips win headlines for a day and leave credibility in the dust.

Graham, Andrews Trade Barbs in Fiery S.C. Senate Debate

Graham, Andrews agree to U.S. Senate debate before general election | South Carolina Public Radio

Sen. Darline Graham, R-S.C., and Democrat challenger Annie Andrews traded personal attacks Sunday night during their only scheduled debate in South Carolina's increasingly competitive U.S. Senate race.

Graham repeatedly portrayed Andrews, a pediatrician, as a far-left liberal aligned with Democratic socialists, while Andrews questioned the incumbent's qualifications and accused her of taking orders from the White House.

"My Democratic opponent is pretending to be someone she is not. She's the most radical liberal that's ever run for state office in South Carolina," Graham said during the debate, according to The Hill.

Andrews responded by accusing Graham of relying on scripted attacks rather than addressing voters' economic concerns.

"My opponent is going to stand up here tonight and call me a socialist because that's what her script says," Andrews said, according to The Post and Courier.

Andrews also criticized Graham for using her maiden name rather than her married name, Nordone.

"My name is Annie Andrews, and there shouldn't be any confusion about that because, unlike my opponent, I haven't changed my name recently," Andrews said.

Graham said she had always used her maiden name legally and had retained it to honor her parents, who died when she was young.

"She's taking my personal tragedy when I lost my parents at a young age and using it as a weapon," Graham said. "So shame on you for that, that's despicable."

Andrews also criticized Graham for acknowledging during an August Republican primary debate that she was not well-informed about national security.

"South Carolina, if your surgeon said that appendectomies aren't really his thing, would you still hand him a scalpel?" Andrews asked.

Graham defended her remarks and accused Andrews of misleading voters.

"At least I'm honest. If I don't know something, I am glad to say it," Graham said.

The candidates also clashed over healthcare, immigration, the Iran war, and artificial intelligence data centers.

Graham accused Andrews of supporting costly government-run healthcare, while Andrews said she favors a public option rather than Medicare for All."

Andrews challenged Graham to additional debates before the Nov. 3 election, but Graham declined, saying her duties representing constituents in Washington took priority.

Libertarian candidate Kasie Whitener also participated in the debate, hosted by South Carolina ETV and Public Radio.

Graham, who was appointed to the Senate following the death of her brother, Sen. Lindsey Graham, in July, is seeking a full six-year term.

The Cook Political Report recently shifted its rating of the race from "Solid Republican" to "Likely Republican," reflecting a more competitive contest.
