Brutal: Obama Not Endorsing Kamala Harris Becasue He Feels She Can't Beat Trump

Barack Obama released a detailed letter in the aftermath of President Joe Biden dropping out of the race. It did not endorse Kamala Harris, who is taking over the top spot on the 2024 Democratic Party ticket. Most of the party is behind Harris since they have no other choice. The party is saddled with two loser candidates, though one—Harris—appears to have solved the Democrats’ fundraising problems for now. Yet, the most popular Democrat has been mum on Harris, and we know why: he also thinks she can’t beat Trump (via NY Post):

Former president Barack Obama hasn’t endorsed Kamala Harris’ presidential bid because he doesn’t think she can beat Donald Trump, according to a source close to the Biden family.

Following Joe Biden’s shock resignation from the race on Sunday, and his immediate endorsement of the vice president, most of the Democratic elite have been quick to rally behind Harris — but Obama is a notable exception.

“Obama’s very upset because he knows she can’t win,” the Biden family source told The Post.

“Obama knows she’s just incompetent — the border czar who never visited the border, saying that all migrants should have health insurance. She cannot navigate the landmines that are ahead of her.”

The turning point for Biden, 81, came after his disastrous performance against Trump in a televised debate in Atlanta last month which, The Post first revealed, was part of an “elaborate set-up” to remove him from the race.

But the source doesn’t have high hopes for a TV debate between Trump and Harris. When Biden was still in the race, a second debate was scheduled for September 10.

“Wait until the debate… She can’t debate. She’s going to put her foot in her mouth about Israel, Palestine, Ukraine. She’s going to say something really stupid,” the source said.

“Obama knew this was going to happen, Joe knew this was going to happen. Now she is going to have to answer real questions.”

The White House did not respond to The Post’s request for comment on this story.

The former president was bearish on his former vice president's chances to win re-election, which has reportedly driven a wedge between the two men—Biden still resents Obama passing him over for Hillary Clinton in 2016. The Clintons were reportedly supportive of Biden staying in the race before the president decided to quit on July 21, perhaps a late overture of good faith and support as a makeup for what went down eight years ago.

Obama wasn't supportive of Biden’s 2020 run and tried to talk him into dropping out behind the scenes in 2024 because he felt the president could win. We’ve come full circle because Biden, like Obama, also felt that his vice president couldn’t win, which partially explained his reluctance to drop out—a brush with COVID and maybe another more serious medical episode might have forced his hand.

It's clear that Obama, while a loyal Democrat, knows this ticket isn’t it. He may be wrong politically, but he knows how to win. He built a virtually unbeatable coalition—thank God for term limits—and he knows Biden-Harris, Harris-whoever is a losing candidacy. It wouldn’t shock me if Obama does endorse Harris in a half-assed manner, especially if things look hopeless.

FBI Director Reiterates Concerns Regarding Terrorist Attacks By Foreign Nationals As Election Approaches

Bailey: For years the democrat bastards opened America's borders to the world and now this creep is worried about terrorist?

On Wednesday, FBI Director Christopher Wray testified before Congress, expressing his concern that terrorists may have crossed the border covertly and could be preparing an attack similar to the ISIS takeover of a Russian concert hall this year.

According to security experts, Wray is “increasingly concerned” about terrorist assaults on “soft targets”—locations frequented by regular Americans. He linked that anxiety to the recent rise in illegal immigration along the border, expressing concern about who may have entered unnoticed.

The director said he can’t estimate how many foreign terrorists are in the country, adding that not all of them are border entries.

“We are increasingly concerned about the possibility not just of a foreign terrorist attack, which is very much a concern, but even the potential for a coordinated foreign terrorist attack, perhaps like what we’ve seen against the concert hall in Russia,” Wray told the House Judiciary Committee.

While a lot of attention has been focused on the quantity of terrorist suspects found attempting to enter the country covertly through the southern border, he stated that he is more concerned about those who have already entered unnoticed.

“I am increasingly concerned that foreign terrorists could seek to exploit vulnerabilities at our southwest border or at other ports of entry or other aspects of our immigration system to facilitate an attack here in the United States,” Wray added.

Biden Delivers Historic Address On Leaving 2024 Race, Doesn't Admit Why He Dropped Out

US President Joe Biden (L) speaks during an address to the nation about his decision to not seek reelection as his son Hunter Biden (C) and Hunter's wife Melissa Cohen Biden (R) listen, in the Oval Office at the White House in Washington, DC, on July 24, 2024. US President Joe Biden will give an Oval Office speech July 24, 2024 to explain his historic decision to drop out of the 2024 election and pass the torch to Kamala Harris, with the White House denying any cover up over his health. In his first address to the nation since quitting the race, the 81-year-old is expected to burnish his legacy and deny he will spend six months as a lame duck president. President Joe Biden addressed the nation from the Oval Office in his first speech since dropping out of the 2024 presidential race.

On Wednesday evening, Biden made a rare speech where he stated, “I revere this office. But I love my country more.”

“It’s been the honor of my life to serve as your president,” Biden stated. “But in defense of democracy, which is at stake – and is more important than any title. I draw strength and I find joy in working for the American people.”

In the 11-minute speech, Biden went on to say that while he enjoyed his presidential term, he believes that “the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation.”

President Biden: "Nothing, nothing can come in the way of saving our democracy, that includes personal ambition. So, I have decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation. That's the best way to unite our nation." pic.twitter.com/Df04E33JSO

“I’ve decided the best way forward is to pass the torch to a new generation,” the 81-year-old Democrat said. “That’s the best way to unite our nation. You know, there is a time and a place for long years of experience in public life. There’s also a time and a place for new voices, fresh voices, yes, younger voices and that time and place is now.”

However, Biden strangely offered no explanation as to why he dropped out of the race suddenly, even though the few weeks prior, the president consistently declared that he had no intention of dropping out.

Biden went on reiterate his endorsement for Vice President Kamala Harris’s presidential campaign. Harris recently acquired enough delegate support to become the presumptive Democrat nominee for president.

“Now, in just a few months, the American people choose the course of America’s future,” the president said.

“I made my choice,” Biden continued. “I made my views known. I would like to thank our great vice-president, Kamala Harris. She’s experienced. She’s tough, she’s capable. She’s been an incredible partner to me and a leader for our country. Now the choice is up to you, the American people.”

Biden wrapped up his historic speech by reflecting back on his lengthy political career.

“It’s been the privilege of my life to serve this nation for over 50 years,” Biden said. “Nowhere else on Earth could a kid with a stutter from modest beginnings in Scranton, Pa., Claremont, Del., one day sit behind the Resolute Desk in the Oval Office as president of the United States. But here I am.”

Biden says that he plans to remain in office for the rest of his term.

Bailey: The following statement is complete bullshit and lies.

I have been privileged to serve this nation for over 50 years.

I have given my heart and my soul, like so many others have.

And I have been blessed a million times in return with the love and support of the American people.

I hope you know how grateful I am to all of you.

FBI Director Wray Takes Turn in Hot Seat Over Trump Shooting

White House counsel's office warned Trump not to fire Chris Wray

 Video Link:

https://www.youtube.com/live/fUZnnT_pjFw?feature=shared

FBI Director Christopher Wray will face questions from Congress on Wednesday over the attempted assassination of Donald Trump, but seems likely to escape the withering bipartisan criticism that preceded Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle's resignation.

Wray is due to appear before the House Judiciary Committee at 10 a.m. (1400 GMT) to answer questions about the FBI's investigation of suspected shooter, 20-year-old nursing home aide Thomas Crooks, who got close enough to a July 13 campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania, to wound the Republican presidential candidate.

Trump was shot in the ear, one rally attendee was killed and another wounded. Crooks was killed by law enforcement. The motive for the shooting remains unclear.

Cheatle resigned Tuesday in the face of bipartisan demands to quit for the agency's failure to prevent the attempted assassination.

But while Wray is likely to hear demands for details of the incident Wednesday, the shooting probe could be overshadowed by partisan divisions within the committee.

The FBI director has long faced opposition from hardline Republicans, some angered over the arrest of Trump supporters who stormed the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as Congress certified President Joe Biden's 2020 election victory.

"I would like to hear the truth. But I doubt it that's what we will hear," said Republican Representative Harriet Hageman, a Judiciary Committee member who said she would like to see Wray resign as FBI chief.

"They have circled the wagons and they're going to try to prevent us from getting the information that we need," she said.

Judiciary Committee Democrats predicted the hearing was unlikely to be productive.

"I'm expecting him to talk about how he's doing his best to keep our country safe. But as you know, it's the Judiciary Committee, so we will have all sorts of sparks fly," Rep. Deborah Ross, D-N.C., said. "It's never a productive exercise in Judiciary. It's always a 'gotcha' game."

On 'The View,' Kamala Harris Is a 'Moderate,' She Isn't a 'Leftist' - and the Cow Jumped Over the Moon

Welp, look at that. More presidential campaign idiocy from the delusional geniuses of ABC's "The View."

Along with the lapdog media, the ladies of ABC's laughable cartoon were in euphoric spin-mode on Tuesday as they waxed idiotic (lied themselves silly) about Kamala Harris becoming the presumptive Democrat presidential nominee after mentally-vacant Joe Biden — the dead man walking — finally bowed (was forced) out.

As has been the case with the left-wing media, "The View" ladies yet again asked "us" (their equally delusional  viewers) to suspend disbelief and buy into the preposterous notion that Harris is a "moderate."

Sara Haines kicked off the festivities. We're talking pay-per-view-quality comedic entertainment.

One thing I also really love is, right now, the big attack for her, in addition to the dirty things, are ‘She's too liberal. She's too liberal.’ That is a very rich comment on her right now, because what Trump did was name JD Vance and – as you said – he's further right. He is Project 2025. He is the Heritage Foundation. He is the MAGA agenda. He had a chance to do something else and we said here the convention was really just a doubling down on extreme agenda.

Can't make it up, don't have to. Haines continued:

Vice President Harris is really – and this is my — I don't have input here, but what I'm seeing — only looking at moderate beloved Democrats. And what that says to me is, for the person saying, "You're too extreme," she's the only one that's actually checking in with the American public.

Forty-three percent of this country identifies as independents. They are more moderate than the minority extremes would like you to think. By minority I mean partisan extremes. But the country is in the middle.

She's saying, ‘I see you as voters.’ So, it’s not just political strategy. I feel like she's thinking about people like me when she's picking her vice presidential candidate.

Setting aside Haines's complete mischaracterization of JD Vance, for a bit, the co-host's portrayal of far-left-wing Harris was the stuff of fairy tales — delusional fairy tales, that is.

Fellow genius co-host Sunny Hostin tossed her incisive genius thoughts (serial lying) into the ring.

Well, to be clear, she's pretty moderate also. She's pretty moderate also ...  but former prosecutors aren’t leftist.

Did I mention that Hostin is aggressively racist and antisemitic?

Finally, pretend token Republican co-host Alyssa Farrah Griffin put the icing on the absurd cake.

And for what it's worth, I think moderate, probably on the left-wing side. I don't think any Republicans see her as moderate. But I do think it’s a very wise idea to find a moderate vice president to open it to the biggest voting bloc.

"Moderate, probably on the left-wing side." I'm going to stop you right there, Ms. Haines. This is a No Oxymoronic Statements Zone. Please.

Let's Visit the Reality of 'Moderate,' Non-'Leftist' Kamala Harris

Most recently, Vance — Donald Trump's vice presidential running mate — said it best.

There's some bad news ... Vice President Kamala Harris ...  doesn't like me. Kamala Harris said something to the effect that I have no loyalty to this country. Well, I don't know, Kamala; I did serve in the United States Marine Corps and build a business. What the hell have you done other than collect a check?

What has she done other than collect a check from her political offices, and we have to give her credit, my friends, she did serve as border czar during the biggest disaster — open border that we've ever had in this country. Let's get President Trump back there, close down that border, and bring some common sense and security to this country.

Every word of it, true — and then some.

WATCH: JD Vance Unleashes on VP Harris, As Trump-Vance Rally Starts in Michigan

Even Californians — Harris's home state — have weighed in on the San Francisco native's political views over the last 24 hours, including former Acting Director of National Intelligence under President Donald Trump, Richard Grenell.

Dear Pennsylvania…take it from this Californian, don’t let Kamala Harris anywhere near your energy sources. She’s a radical environmentalist even for California. Even Obama eventually read the science and agreed to fracking. As Attorney General, Kamala worked overtime to make sure liquid natural gas (LNG) terminals were not built throughout the entire state of California.

I could go on and on — trust me.

HOT TAKES: California Weighs In on a Potential Kamala Harris Presidency

The absurd notion that Kamala Harris is a "moderate" is the stuff of fools.

Wait. The imbeciles of "The View." Never mind.

Kamala Wants to Frame Campaign As Prosecutor Versus Felon: That’s Not Good … for Her

The fledgling campaign for Kamala Harris is reportedly seeking to frame the 2024 presidential election as a prosecutor versus convicted felon narrative.

The initial observation here is that the “felon” in this story is actually not the bad guy.

If the vice president wants to push her record as district attorney in San Francisco and later as California attorney general, she does so at her peril.

Doing so would expose her as an inept investigator, a champion of jailing poor minorities, and an avid supporter of defunding the police while funding criminals.

Let’s take a look, shall we? We’ll start with her issues struggling to connect with minority communities, something Democrats are relying on in making headway in the race against Donald Trump.

A video from an appearance at the Commonwealth Club in San Francisco in 2010 shows Harris gleefully relaying a story about threatening parents with jail time if their kids skipped school.

“I believe a child growing without an education is tantamount to a crime,” Harris told the crowd in attendance. “So I decided I was going to start prosecuting parents for truancy.”

The video shows a smiling and laughing Harris sharing this story, noting that she had the political capital to try and “get those kids in school” by threatening their parents.

Critics were quick to point out that those most vulnerable to Harris’s over-zealous prosecution of parents were low-income minority families.

Harris, in another clip, can be heard describing how she tried intimidating a single homeless mother of three kids.

The Democrat can be seen laughing about sending her office’s homicide and gang prosecutors to school to meet with the struggling woman.

“When you go over there, look really mean,” she recalled.

Harris would later suggest she was simply trying to connect parents to the resources they needed. Then, the charges would be dropped.

Kamala Harris Is Clearly Burdened by What Has Been

HOT TAKES: California Weighs In on a Potential Kamala Harris Presidency

Another sticking point for minority voters has been Harris's history of expanding convictions of marijuana users in California.

As California attorney general, Harris oversaw thousands of marijuana-related convictions. Critics argue that these convictions disproportionately affected black and brown communities and that Harris's office fought against efforts to reduce sentences or expunge records.

Harris later came under additional fire for that prosecutorial record when she claimed she smoked weed in high school, with some branding her a hypocrite.

While Kamala has little in the way of street cred due to her record as a malicious prosecutor, Trump’s own street cred has been amplified by being the victim of malicious prosecutors.

Craig Scott, who described himself as a "Black Robinhood" in a Newsweek op-ed, argued “Trump’s repeated run-ins with the law, and what seems like an unfair obsession with catching him and punishing him disproportionately for his so-called ‘crimes,’ reminds a lot of us of what was done to us” in the black community.

“He’s literally been in my shoes. No other president can brag on that,” Scott said. “And believe me, he will brag about it.”

Harris doesn’t have near the cachet with certain voting blocs that Democrats hope she does. Bring on the prosecutor v. felon push from her campaign.

When she wasn’t targeting poor minorities in the Golden State, Harris was failing women in her own office. As Attorney General, Harris ignored an accusation and lawsuit alleging sexual harassment by a top aide in her office.

That complaint involved “gender harassment” perpetrated against her aide’s former executive assistant, along with allegations that she was forced into “demeaning behavior.”

The case ultimately led to a $400,000 settlement and the resignation of that aide who had been described as one of Harris’s closest professional confidantes. The then-AG feigned ignorance of the whole accusation and lawsuit despite it being reported years earlier.

Only an inept prosecutor would completely miss a harassment case in her own office. But then, ineptitude defines Kamala.

In 2006, she granted probation to a man who went on to murder two people. At the height of the 2020 race riots, Harris encouraged people to contribute to a bail fund to free violent rioters. One of those freed ended up being charged with murder.

She continues to raise money for that bail fund.

When she isn’t jailing people for minor offenses and bailing out those with violent criminal records, Harris has been a vocal supporter of defunding the police.

She supported the movement and said we need to "reimagine" public safety, even applauding the Los Angeles Mayor for slashing police funding by $150 million as the riots were ongoing.

Think the Border Crisis Is Bad Now? Experts Say a Harris Presidency
Would Make It Even Worse

Harris also backed abolishing ICE, the agency that arrests and deports dangerous criminals, insisting that “we need to probably be thinking about starting from scratch.”

You read that right. The woman Joe Biden tapped as border czar wanted to abolish the one enforcement mechanism for prosecuting criminal illegal aliens.

Kamala Harris was never qualified to be San Francisco DA. She was even less qualified to be California’s AG. It’s not even a question when it comes to the White House.

Even on the heels of one of the most incompetent presidencies in history, Harris's history as a prosecutor and the very few things she was tasked with as Veep illustrates she’s not exactly an upgrade over Biden.

Radio Host Got Brutally Honest on Why Black Voters Never Really Liked Kamala Harris

The unknown factor is Kamala Harris's primary advantage for now. It doesn’t gloss over that the 2024 Democratic Party ticket is a ratship in total disarray. The unity cited incessantly on MSNBC is a manufactured media narrative where little is grounded in reality. If there is a coalescing around the vice president, these loyal soldiers have no choice but to back her because who else is there?

Harris dropped out before the 2020 Iowa Caucuses. No Democratic primary voter has ever voted for her. Again, the lion's share of the party backs her because there is no other choice. Democrats don’t like her. It’s the primary reason she dropped out of the 2020 race—a precipitous fall that was dogged by rumors of a toxic work environment and a woman who wasn’t ready for primetime. Also, there’s inner-Democratic Party base politics here, where a black radio host, Karen Hunter,

Karen Hunter Discusses Impact of Donald Trump's Presidency

got blunt regarding why Harris 2020 fizzled: she’s married to a white guy.

It shouldn’t matter, but with the unhinged and race-obsessed woke Left being a vocal faction of the base, these factors play a role:

Yet, that’s one of 99 problems Harris has heading into her duel with Donald Trump. Right now, there’s a gaslighting operation, unlike anything we've seen, where the establishment media is re-writing history, like how she was never put in charge of the border.

Attack her record, her remarks, and her inexperience. Let her time in the spotlight do the rest because it undid her before, and times haven’t changed.
