Anyone Notice This Anomaly During Ilhan Omar's Election Returns?

As Rebecca wrote earlier last night, Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) successfully fended off a primary challenge from Don Samuels, a former Minneapolis City Council member.  Omar clinched 56 percent of the vote to Samuels’ 42 percent, with other candidates sprinkled in the field. Congress’ favorite radical Islamic terrorist apologist is heading back to Washington, so everyone should grab a barf bag.

Yet, did anyone notice what was odd about the returns? I won’t say it, but you can debate this topic in the comments below. But the rate and speed of the election returns in this primary election were a bit suspect, to say the least:

It’s not the only race where the pace has been questioned. On the flip side, in March, while it was a statewide contest, even liberal reporters were noting California’s pace in counting its ballots was torturously slow. Yet, if you raise concerns, you’re an election denier. That’s the (idiotic) rule, right?

In the meantime, enjoy Omar celebrating her win, where she pretty much called Samuels a Nazi. Mr. Samuels is black, Ilhan.

The PA Department of State Did Not Just Tweet This About Election Night Returns

The Commonwealth of Pennsylvania is warning us ahead of Election Day: they might not have all the ballots counted that night. We’re back to this nonsense of election workers counting ballots for a few hours and then being sent home as if they spent two whole days in the coal mines. It’s embarrassing that in the United Kingdom’s general elections, every ballot for their 650 seats is counted the same night, and often, we know which party has clinched enough seats to form a government.

This thread by Pennsylvania’s Department of State is how conspiracy theories and questions about the election results begin:

Pennsylvanians won’t always know the final results of all races on election night. Any changes in results that occur as counties continue to count ballots are not evidence that an election is “rigged.”

The department tweeted that on August 8, and it should have led to some eyebrows being raised. Four days later, they explained why:

This post might have caught your attention and made you wonder, “Why doesn’t PA have full results on election night?”

The answer: Because state law says counties cannot begin processing mail ballots until 7 a.m. on Election Day.

That law can only be changed if the Pennsylvania legislature sends a bill to the Governor’s desk to do it.

With Democrats controlling the PA State House while the Republicans control the PA Senate—there will be no change this year or in the foreseeable future. Was this a public service announcement or preparing us to watch out for some funny business on election night? It’s a must-win state for both Trump and Harris.

Florida: Registered Republican Voters Outnumber Democrats By Over 1 Million

Florida’s republican party has flourished in the post-COVID era, boasting 1 million more registered voters in the state than the Democrats have in Florida.

Florida’s Republican Party has flourished in the post-COVID era, boasting 1 million more registered voters in the state than registered Democrat voters.

The count of registered Florida Republican voters is currently at 5.33 million, while the registered Democrat voters in the state is at 4.33 million.

“Our success goes beyond just numbers,” said Florida GOP chairman Evan Power. “It’s about a vision to make Florida the beacon of freedom for the rest of the county.”

Ron DeSantis (R-Fla.), the governor of Florida, chimed in on social media platforms and highlighted the voter lead.

“Six years ago, registered Democrats outnumbered registered Republicans by almost 300,000 – and Florida had never had more registered Republicans than Democrats in its history. Now, Republicans outnumber Democrats by 1 million voters, which is a sea change that few thought possible (and contrary to the many predictions that FL would become a blue state),” DeSantis wrote on X. “Leadership matters. Bold colors, not pale pastels.

Florida, which was previously recognized as a “swing state,” began to shift during COVID-19 as DeSantis emerged as a strong leader who fought against federal lockdown policies and illogical COVID-19 policies like staying six-feet-apart, which had no scientific-backing.

In a testimony to the House Oversight Committee, Dr. Anthony Fauci, the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases, admitted that there was no scientific evidence to uphold the “six-foot social-distancing rule” that was previously in effect during the Covid pandemic.

Along with a Republican governor in office, the state also currently has two Republican senators and Republican representatives serving 20 of its 28 congressional districts.

'J6 Praying Grandma' Ordered To Pay $100K Fine, Endure 6 Months Of House Arrest (Sentenced by the first ever Muslim Judge)

Rebecca Lavrenz avoids prison time, sentenced to probation | Courts | gazette.com

Rebecca Lavrenz, who is also known online as the “J6 Praying Grandma,” has been sentenced to six months of home confinement in addition to being ordered to pay a $100k fine in connection to the U.S. Capitol protest on January 6th.

Prosecutors were initially seeking a 10-month prison sentence, but Muslim Magistrate Judge Zia Faruqui

did not believe that was necessary. Instead, he decided Lavrenz should not profit off of her “egregious conduct,” ruling in favor of a $100,000 fine instead.

Lavrenz is one of the over 1,400 people who have been charged in relation to the 2021 protest.

Lavrenz has gained notoriety online for speaking out against the Department of Justice’s response to those charged in cases related to January 6th.

Along with the six month home confinement sentencing, Lavrenz is also required to stay off the internet during her house arrest after prosecutors accused her of “profiting off the celebrity of her conviction,” based on her media appearances.

Former President Donald Trump came to Lavrenz’s defense after her conviction in April, maintaining that she was “unfairly targeted” by the Justice Department. He also shared a link for people to donate to her legal fund.

“This whole situation is not just about me, it is about the people of the United States of America,” said Lavrenz.

Additionally, she reportedly claimed that she was at the U.S. Capitol “out of obedience to God,” and has said that her actions were a part of a larger cause.

Lavrenz was sentenced as one of the more mild offenders during the protests, as she did not actively engage in any violence or property destruction. However, Judge Faruqui told her in court that “it’s still a grave offense.”

“Outrageously, the government seeks to imprison this peaceful, nonviolent, elderly, retired, first-time offender for months in jail merely because Lavrenz has been forthright in informing her fellow Americans about the criminal justice system for January 6 defendants,” wrote her attorney, John Pierce.

Prosecutors claim that Lavrenz spent roughly ten minutes inside the Capitol building, chanting “It’s our house, you can’t take our house.”

During her trial, prosecutor Terence Park

also maintained that there is “no question” that Lavrenz wanted to stop the legitimization of Joe Biden’s victory in 2020.

“She has all but promised to do it all over again,” said Parker.

Lavenz’s legal team reportedly plans to appeal the conviction and challenge the fine.

Former Commander Rips Walz Over Rank 'He Did Not Earn'

What Tim Walz's Battalion Commander John Kolb and Others Have Been Saying About Him - YouTube

A former battalion commander in the same Minnesota Army National Guard unit as Gov. Tim Walz took to social media on Monday to blast the vice presidential nominee for stolen valor, calling it an "affront" that Walz continues to "glom onto the title" of command sergeant major despite not completing the requisite steps to earn it.

Further, John Kolb wrote in his post to Facebook that Walz's decision to retire early from the outfit was a blessing in disguise because it led to better leadership — retired command sergeant major Thomas Behrends, who skewered Walz in an appearance on Newsmax earlier Monday.

But Walz's taking credit for rising to E9, a rank the governor "did not earn," was an affront. The Harris-Walz campaign has walked back Walz's assertion, saying the governor "misspoke" about retiring as a command sergeant major.

Kolb wrote that he has "no criticism of [Walz's] service as an E7 or E8." However, "I cannot say the same thing of his service sitting, frocked, in the CSM [command sergeant major] chair. He did not earn the rank or successfully complete any assignment as an E9.

"It is an affront to the Noncommissioned Officer Corps that he continues to glom onto the title," Kolb wrote. "I can sit in the cockpit of an airplane, it does not make me a pilot."

Kolb wrote that when Walz retired shortly before a deployment to Iraq was close to happening, Walz "unwittingly got out of the way for better leadership" — Behrends.

Behrends, Kolb wrote, "ran toward and not away from guns."

Behrends told Newsmax on Monday that Walz is a "liar and a fraud."

Behrends said there are "seven Army values and [Walz is] the opposite of every one of them," adding that, "we do not want that as a person that is one step away from being commander in chief."

In addition to his rank, Walz also invited criticism when a video from 2018 surfaced of him talking about handling weapons that he used "in war." Walz retired before he ever saw any combat in Iraq or Afghanistan. He was in a support role while stationed in Italy.

"When someone says he misspoke on something as serious as this, that means they are a liar," Behrends said.

Trump on X Taps Into a Voting Bloc That Legacy Media Doesn't Even Know Exists

As my colleague Bonchie reported, Axios reporter Sara Fischer appeared on CNN to complain about former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump having an unfettered microphone with Elon Musk on X.

The Monday night conversation hails Trump's return to the X (formerly Twitter) platform where he was unceremoniously booted almost four years before, and it has the entire legacy media complex shook.

The meltdowns have already begun and he’s not even really posting anything yet. pic.twitter.com/iX43U5tWJE

— The🐰FOO (@PolitiBunny) August 12, 2024

As my colleague streiff also reported, a Washington Post reporter asked the Biden Press Secretary whether this interview could be stopped, because "misinformation," or something...

It would be an understatement to say that much of the media and a lot of the government is losing its crap at this hour as X, formerly Twitter owner Elon Musk engages in a free-form "conversation" with former President Donald Trump in an X "space." Earlier today, the European Union's commissioner for the internal market, some effete Frenchman who became a Senegalese in 2015, perhaps in honor of his efforts to turn Europe into a Third World sh** hole, named Thierry Breton. Breton warned Musk that the EU will punish him for allowing misinformation or hate speech

It's amazing and laughable to watch. This media meltdown is more delicious than liberal tears.

In the CNN segment, not only did Fischer complain that Trump might "say whatever he wants," but she insulted an entire bloc of voters that will never read her online scribbles or watch CNN.

WATCH:

My Twitchy colleague PolitiBunny is quite correct. They despise the fact that they are on the outside looking in. You can hear the sarcasm dripping from Fischer's voice when she says, "Online fringe." This online fringe she dismisses represents a YUGE and probably untapped voting bloc.

The "edgelord influencers," make up a young and MALE segment of voters who have huge online followings, eschew TikTok, and promote alpha males. Trump and his VP running mate JD Vance have been speaking to these influencers and appearing on their podcasts and shows, so who knows how many have tuned in Monday night? So far, over 30 million people (and counting) have already plugged into Trump's X conversation with Musk.

While many are writers, the political class, and the MAGA base, among that number are probably undecided voters or people who pay little attention to the legacy media. The Kamala coronation is either passing over their heads or viewed like a person with three heads. But the iconic former president who survived an assassination attempt?

It's a draw that should not be discounted. The Spew The View's Alyssa Farah Griffin also had this befuddled and dismissive response to Trump's campaign move.

Trump:
-gets back on Twitter
-does interview with Elon
-puts out ad about the Mar-a-lago raid

He’s doubling down with his base. It gains him nothing with undecideds/ swing voters. Bizarre strategy 3 months out.

Bizarre to binary thinkers like Farah Griffin and her ilk. Once again, the voting bloc Trump is aiming for with this X interview wouldn't bother to tune into the screech fest where Farah Griffin wastes her days.

And how is she so sure that it gains nothing with undecided and swing voters? The people who tend to make up this demo do not respond to debates, and the media noise gives them a headache. But a conversation where Trump gets to lay out policy, discuss how the assassination attempt affected him, and define his opponent? That is something they can be drawn into.

So, who knows how many hearts and minds are being changed by hearing a non-adversarial and conversational Trump?

The legacy media is so focused on rebranding Kamala Harris and running interference for Tim Walz that they cannot even recognize the brilliance of this pivot. X is the one platform that isn't working overtime to either ignore, misrepresent, or drown out Trump's campaign and message. Much to their chagrin, with this X interview, Trump has blown a hole through their propaganda wall and reached past to voters that they had no idea existed.
