Obama Politics

Obama's credibility crisis
Examiner Editorial
April 25, 2010

Hard on the heels of that shocking Pew Research Center survey finding that four out of five Americans don't trust government comes a blitz of new revelations about the Obama administration that amount to a full-fledged credibility crisis. The latest disclosures are especially damaging because they concern President Obama's possible misrepresentation of his relationships with former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich and convicted felon Tony Rezko, his administration's misleading statements about Obamacare costs, and questions about improper manipulation of government-owned General Motors and the Securities and Exchange Commission.

Abortion Rights

Most of the Supreme Court nominations from the Obama White House list support abortion rights, most of George W. Bush opposed abortion rights. So who is right and who is wrong? Maybe the government should stay out of these things and let the Doctors and patients decide. I believe the government has to much on their plate as it is. Next thing you know they'll be dictating when you can go to the bathroom.

Managers

I think that what bothers me more than anything about the Obama administration is in the fact that it is kind of like a situation at a average job. The company (America) you work for brings in a new manager and the first thing he or she does is start changing things up. But sometimes they do not understand that what works for one company will not work for another. Long time stock holders (Americans) of the company have no say in what needs to be or should be changed to make it more productive & prosperous. In the new managers opinion their not smart or qualified enough to be able to give an opinions. The troubling part about it all is by the time the stock holders (Americans) realize that they have a bad manager in their company and fire them its to late to undo the damage that has already been done. And in the real world once a crooked politician gets into office it seems almost impossible to get them out.

Who is regulating the Government?

I just read on the yahoo website that federal regulators filed civil fraud charges against Goldman Sachs over its dealings in subprime mortgages. The Obama administration seeks greater power over banks anyway and this will just give them more justification. Well the question burning in my mind is who is regulating the Obama
administration? Who is putting the brakes on the run away spending? Who is filing fraud charges against the politicians that are stuffing their pockets with our tax money? Stop and think about how many of these people fly around in private jets and ride in chauffeur driven cars, living in gated communities? Most of them don't know what a gas, water, or electric bill looks like because only their bookkeeper will ever see that stuff. That's because they can't be bother with small petty things like how you're going to survive until your next paycheck. And they're suppose to work for us, what a laugh. I didn't know I could afford to pay my help better then I did myself, did you?

The Constitution of the United States of America

Amendment 1 - Freedom of Religion, Press, Expression. Ratified 12/15/1791. Note

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.

I posted the above because it was mentioned to me to be careful about what I blog when sharing my feelings about the present government bureaucrats. I thought I had learn from early childhood that all of the Senators & Reps. were suppose to work for the people. Somehow, somewhere they have got it in their heads that we work for them!

Government Student Loans

This is a smart sleazy move on the democrats to draw in votes on the next election. Of course most of the voters they will get are deadbeats that think they should receive a free education funded by you the tax payer! You know the ones that are to lazy to get out and work for it.
