Trump Won't Back Off Obama's Birth Papers

Donald Trump is not backing down from his demand that President Barack Obama produce his birth certificate and stepped up his criticism by questioning why he has not released other personal records, including college transcripts and legislative papers.

The billionaire real estate tycoon and star of “The Apprentice” created a stir on Wednesday when he said on “The View” that Obama must release his birth certificate.

Now Trump has reiterated his call in an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV, with this simple message for Obama: Why don’t you produce your birth certificate and put to rest all speculation that you were born outside the United States?

He says Obama’s birth certificate controversy is a “strange situation” — there are conflicting reports as to what Honolulu hospital he was born at, and the governor of Hawaii claims he somehow remembers Obama being born 50 years ago.

Obama Tells Brazil: U.S. Wants to Be Dependent on Foreign Oil

Energy Policy: While leaving U.S. oil and jobs in the ground, our itinerant president tells a South American neighbor that we'll help it develop its offshore resources so we can one day import its oil. WHAT?!?
With Japan staggered by a natural disaster and a nuclear crisis, cruise missiles launched against Libya in our third Middle East conflict and a majority of U.S. senators complaining about a lack of leadership on the budget, President Obama decided it would be a good time to schmooze with Brazilians

Brave New World of the Obama Doctrine

For a man who ran as the anti-war candidate, President Obama sure is trigger-happy.

We’re now in our third war in the Middle East, and if the rationale for the Libyan War is a guide, it may not stop there. President Obama has opened up a whole new line of work for the U.S. military – to intervene in other countries’ civil wars to protect their citizens from their leaders.

House Votes to End NPR Funding

The House voted to block all federal funding for NPR, a week after the embattled public radio station found itself the subject of a conservative activist's undercover video recording that led to the ouster of its chief executive, ABC News reported.

The bill passed by a 228-192 vote. No Democrats voted for it but 7 Republicans voted against the measure.

The bill calls for an end to all federal funding to NPR and its affiliates.

It also prohibits stations from using federal funds to pay NPR dues and to purchase programming. It would block NPR from applying for grants provided by federal agencies such as the Corporation for Public Broadcasting, Department of Education, Department of Commerce and the National Endowment for the Arts.

The House GOP continuing resolution that would fund the government for the remainder of the year already rescinds funding for the CPB, which also funds Public Broadcasting Service, and zeroes out millions in funds after that.

Public vs. private benefits battle heats up

When Erin McFarlane looks at public workers, she sees lucrative pension benefits she doesn't ever expect to get. And it makes her mad.

"I don't think that a federal employee or government employee is worth any more than anybody else who does their job and does it well," said the Slinger, Wis., woman. She's been working a couple of bartending jobs since January, when she was laid off from her job at a Harley Davidson plant after almost a decade.

She's not alone in seeing public servants as public enemies in some ways. For some everyday Americans, it's a case of pension envy. For McFarlane, 36, it's part of a ubiquitous discussion, at the bars where she works and on Facebook. And it's the center of some of the biggest political battles playing out in state capitals across the country as governors say their states can no longer afford the benefits that public employees have been promised.

League of American Voters

The Wisconsin House has followed the Senate in stripping Obama's bloated public unions of the power to line their pockets with taxpayer dollars.
On Friday, Gov. Walker courageously signed this law in to effect.
This is a huge victory not only for Wisconsin, but for all of America.
And it's a stunning defeat for Obama's bloated public-unions allies.
That's why Team Obama is so raving mad and they want Scott Walker and his supporters in Wisconsin to pay a heavy price.
Already, they are demanding recall elections for legislators who supported Gov. Walker.
Rev. Jesse Jackson has entered the fray, swearing he'll escalate the protests.
Jesse Jackson told Fox News, "You will either have collective bargaining through a vehicle called collective bargaining or you're going to have it through the streets."
And Hollywood leftist Michael Moore has even called for Scott Walker to have his "a*s" thrown in "jail."
But the most disgusting response has to be from the protesters, who've sent death threats to the legislators.
Here's just one example:
"Please put your things in order because you will be killed and your families will also be killed due to your actions in the last eight weeks. Please explain to them that this is because if we get rid of you and your families then it will save the rights of 300,000 people..."
These types of criminal threats are disgusting and have no place in our society.
When Obama's liberal allies don't get their way, they resort to bullying and intimidation.
And they won't give up.
Obama's bloated public unions are determined to break the back of Gov. Scott Walker's resolve, and to reverse our victory.
That's why it's so important for you and the League of American Voters to stay in the fight.https://www.ezsubscription.com/lav/subscribe.asp?key=710326&s=al&promo_code=BD97-1

Obama Gives a Health Care Waiver to Entire State of Maine

The federal government Tuesday granted Maine a waiver of a key provision in President Barack Obama's health care overhaul, citing the likelihood that enforcement could destabilize the state's market for individual health insurance.
The U.S. Health and Human Services department said in a letter it would waive the requirement that insurers spend 80 cents to 85 cents of every premium dollar on medical care and quality improvement. Instead, the letter said, the state could maintain its 65 percent standard for three years, with the caveat that HHS intends to review the figures after two years.
The decision makes Maine the first state to receive a waiver of the requirement. Similar requests are pending from Kentucky, Nevada and New Hampshire.
In seeking the waiver, Maine Insurance Superintendent Mila Kofman feared that one of three major insurers offering individual plans in Maine would withdraw from the market altogether if the federal requirement remained in place. The insurer, MEGA Life and Health Insurance Co., has 37 percent of the state's individual market.http://nation.foxnews.com/obamacare-waivers/2011/03/08/obama-gives-health-care-waiver-entire-state-maine?cmpid=NL_FiredUpFoxNation_20110309

Muslim Brotherhood Strips Bylaws From Website

The Muslim Brotherhood removed its bylaws from its English-language website just days after longtime Egyptian ruler Hosni Mubarak was driven from office.
The Brotherhood, which has been banned in Egypt, appears eager to promote a more moderate image and downplay its past history of Islamic extremism in hopes of gaining a spot on the ballot in future Egyptian elections.
“The bylaws have long been a source of discussion and debate on the Internet because of the group’s stated intention to create an Islamic state, uniting Muslims around the world,” observes Steven Emerson, executive director of The Investigative Project on Terrorism.
“It’s not clear why the bylaws disappeared, but the timing is highly suspicious. With a genuine opportunity to appear on an Egyptian ballot, they have vanished from public view within days of President Hosni Mubarak’s ouster.”
Tellingly, the bylaws remain posted on the Brotherhood’s Arabic-language site, Emerson notes.
The vanished bylaws cited “the need to work on establishing the Islamic State,” and sought “the sincere support for a global cooperation in accordance with the provisions of the Islamic shariah.”
They also stressed the “need to inform the masses, Muslim and non-Muslims, of Islamic teachings.”
Emerson writes: “Now, it seems, the Brotherhood sees its written bylaws as something they don’t want to be read by the English-speaking world.”
As for claims the Brotherhood is moderating its positions, Emerson discloses that as recently as September, the organization’s General Guide Mohammed Badie said Muslims are duty-bound to make the Koran the law of Egypt.
And another senior member of the Brotherhood, Kamal Helbawy, said a week ago that Egypt needs “innocent, honest and brave leaders like” Iran’s President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad.
In an exclusive interview with Newsmax.TV in February, former Assistant Defense Secretary Richard Perle warned: “The Muslim Brotherhood is potentially a very serious problem, since it is committed to the global expansion of an extreme approach to Islam, which is strict shariah law.
“I know a lot of people take a different view now, but they’re not looking at what the Muslim Brotherhood has done from its inception and they’re not listening to what the Muslim Brotherhood is saying in Arabic. They’re listening to what’s being said in English and that’s a very different story.”newsmax.com

Clean up your own Trash First

In a Newsmax.TV exclusive interview, determined Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker on Friday began the legal notification process that could lead to 1,500 state employees losing their jobs in April. He also said that President Barack Obama should stay out of his state’s fiscal crisis and instead ought to focus on “the much, much graver budget crisis we have in our nation’s capital, which he’s failed to lead on.”

The GOP governor said the jobs will be saved, however, if at least one of 14 AWOL Democratic state senators return to the state next week, which would allow the Wisconsin Senate the quorum it needs to pass Walker’s “budget repair bill.”

Wisconsin has been mired in weeks now as thousands of union members, many of them bused in from neighboring states, march to protest the fiscal austerity measures that Walker maintains are necessary to rein in a $3.6 billion deficit. Among his proposals are limitations on unions’ ability to conduct collective bargaining, which would be limited to negotiating salaries. Unions would have no say in how much their members pay for pension and health benefits.

14 Missing Dems got Big Money from Union

The 14 Wisconsin Democratic senators who fled to Illinois share more than just political sympathy with the public employees and unions targeted by Gov. Scott Walker's budget-repair bill.
The Senate Democrats count on those in the public sector as a key funding source for their campaigns.
In fact, one out of every five dollars raised by those Democratic senators in the past two election cycles came from public employees, such as teachers and firefighters, and their unions, a Journal Sentinel analysis of campaign records shows.
"It's very simple," said Richard Abelson, executive director of District Council 48 of the American Federation of State, County and Municipal Employees. "We have interests and because of that we attempt to support candidates who support our interests. It's pretty hard to find Republicans who support our interests these days."
Bailey: It most be nice to get free insurance and a free pension plan for life.

Look like Jackasses

As members of Congress fight over what to cut in the current federal budget to avert a government shutdown, lawmakers are about to receive a blockbuster report that could provide a roadmap to potentially hundreds of billions of dollars in waste. The nonpartisan General Accounting Office (GAO) is poised to release a report Tuesday that one senator said "will make us all look like jackasses."
"Go study that (report). It will show why we're $14 trillion in debt," said Sen. Tom Coburn, R-Okla. "Anybody that says we don't look like fools up here hasn't read the report."
The report, a summary of which was obtained by Fox News, was mandated by Congress the last time it raised the debt limit in January 2010. In its analysis of federal agencies, the GAO found 33 areas with "overlap and fragmentation."
"Reducing or eliminating duplication, overlap, or fragmentation could potentially save billions of taxpayer dollars annually and help agencies provide more efficient and effective services," the report says. In one example, the report found that if the Defense Department were to make "broader restructuring" of its "military health care system" it "could result in annual savings of up to $460 million."
Even more scathing is the duplication investigators found in the nation's biodefense efforts, with the report essentially saying that the billions of dollars spent annually is the responsibility of no one individual and that there is no plan for post-attack coordination, this on the heels of a 2010 federal commission finding that gave the U.S. a "failing grade" in its prevention measures.

WHAT IS GOING on in Wisconsin will come soon to a neighborhood near you.

All governments, city, state and federal, are running out of money. Every night on the news stories of budget deficits abound.
This could be a good thing. Bloated salaries and outrageous benefits for public sector workers was easier to overlook when the economy was rosy, and the impending disaster "can" was being kicked down the road.
It is time to confront the issues that are sending almost all governments into bankruptcy.
The silver lining?
There are more of us in the private sector than there are in the public sector. Believe me, that is not for lack of trying by people who continue to expand government programs and bureaus within the bureaus. But what politicians seem to overlook is that no government jobs can exist without some people in the private sector paying taxes to support them.
Now is the perfect time to get those who have not been paying attention to start taking notice.
Many of us make a certain salary yet are supporting our counterparts in the government who make more than we do.
Not only that, but we are responsible for their retirement and health care for life. They may participate toward those benefits, but it has been minimal.
It is time for them to join the rest of us and make the sacrifice.http://www.marinij.com/opinion/ci_17476216

Digging into a Empty Wallet.

Bailey:
You've borrowed everything from your retirement. You've maxed out all of your credit cards. You've got no pay raises on your job for years. And you thought, I will be able to catch up as soon as the economy  gets better. Then just when you think you see a small ray of sunlight, here come the oil companies pushing up the gas prices again. The people who run these companies must ether be mighty stupid or have already made enough money off us, that they are not worried about killing the goose that lays the golden egg. Because that is exactly what they are doing! The average American citizen can't dig money out of a empty wallet. Does anyone remember the oil well leaking millions of gallons of oil into the ocean? Did that drive up the oil prices? Hell no! They seem to pick and choose certain events just to jack up the prices.

It's the Unions' Last Stand, and Taxpayers Must Fight the Good Fight

The battle raging in Wisconsin has huge implications for all American taxpayers, who will be forced to shoulder the burden of out of control government spending at the state, local and federal level. The bosses -- either from the union or the Democratic Party -- who depend on a steady flow of union dues into their political coffers are desperate because they understand the stakes.
So, too, must taxpayers.
This fight will decide whether union bosses can bleed taxpayers dry no matter what happens in elections, or whether electing limited-government conservatives can result in meaningful change.
Union membership is in free-fall in the private economy. In 2010, private sector union membership reached 6.9 percent, a record low. That means 93.1 percent of workers in the private economy are not union members – a higher level than when FDR signed the Wagner Act into law in 1935. It makes sense, because workers have seen unions cripple industries like autos, steel and airlines. They’ve seen union bosses make such outrageous demands that companies end up in bankruptcy and workers lose their jobs. Most workers would simply prefer to negotiate their own salary and benefits than to let union bosses destroy more companies and industries.http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/02/21/unions-stand-taxpayers-fight-good-fight/

Walker: ‘Democracy Doesn’t Come by Hiding Out’

Wisconsin GOP Gov. Scott Walker Thursday told Fox News he is personally appealing to Democratic state lawmakers – who fled the state to circumvent voting on a budget bill that would curb union rights – to return and participate in the legitimate process, or law enforcement might again “seek them out.”

Saudis Fault Obama on Egyptian Crisis

A telephone conversation between President Obama and King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia on Wednesday was unusually tense, a senior Obama administration official confirmed to Fox News.
The discord arises from Saudi displeasure over the Obama administration's handling of the Egyptian crisis. "They have talked about [the necessity of] a dignified exit for Mubarak," said the official. "And they are judging, in their own minds…that we have pushed Mubarak to the side."

Gallup: Obama Approval Hits New Low on Deficit

President Barack Obama’s approval rating for his handling of the federal deficit has fallen to a new low — just 27 percent of Americans now approve, down from 32 percent in November, while 68 percent disapprove, a Gallup poll reveals.

President Obama, Gallup, deficitBack in April 2009, 49 percent of those polled said they approved of Obama’s handling of the deficit.

The new Gallup poll discloses that Americans feel Obama is doing much better on international issues than on domestic ones.

The poll was conducted Feb. 2-5, as the Obama administration was seeking to deal with the turmoil in Egypt. Nearly half of respondents, 47 percent, said they approve of Obama’s handling of the turmoil in Egypt, while 32 percent disapprove and 21 percent have no opinion.

On Afghanistan, 47 percent approve of his handling of the situation, and 46 percent disapprove.

Regarding Obama’s energy policy, 43 percent approve, and 42 percent disapprove. But 54 percent disapprove of his performance regarding taxes, while 42 percent approve.

Obama also scores poorly on two other domestic issues: healthcare policy (Americans disapprove 56 percent to 40 percent), and the economy (60 percent to 37 percent).

Republicans give Obama particularly low marks for his handling of domestic issues. Just 12 percent approve of the president on healthcare policy, 9 percent approve of Obama on the economy, and 7 percent think he is doing a good job with the deficit.

Among Democrats, they give Obama the highest rating for his handling of foreign affairs (75 percent), and healthcare policy (73 percent).
Republicans (34 percent) and Independents (47 percent) both give him their highest approval rating for his handling of the situation in Afghanistan.

“President Obama has failed to build public support in recent months for his handling of major U.S. economic matters,” Gallup observes.

“His approval rating on the economy is no better than it was last fall, and his approval rating on the federal budget deficit — a top issue for Republicans in Congress since the midterm elections — is even worse. His broadest support on the issues comes on foreign policy matters, most notably the situation in Egypt, but even on these, his approval ratings register just below 50 percent.”

Super bowl Screw Up

Everyday I see things happening that brings America down lower and lower. But when you have a so called role model get up in front of a audience of millions and screw up our National Anthem that is about as low as you can go! People like this is what our kids are falling all over themselves to imitate. Our kids look up to these people and make them into heroes and then try to dress up and act like just like them. That's really scary  isn't it. And what is even scarier is the fact these same kids will grown up and become America's future leaders.

The People of Egypt Were Abandoned By the U.N. For 30 Years

There is one main reason why the Obama administration misjudged Egypt entirely – they cannot get their facts straight. For the last two years they have been busy defending the U.N. as an effective vehicle for promoting U.S. interests, in the name of engagement.

But for the three decades of Hosni Mubarak’s reign the U.N. has dedicated its human rights apparatus to demonizing the state of Israel and ignoring the human rights victims in Egypt and across the Arab world. As dissatisfaction and unrest have grown in the region over his presidency, the Obama administration failed to recognize the U.N.’s gross negligence or to take responsibility for ensuring an alternative vehicle to promote democracy. Instead, it legitimized the U.N.’s top human rights body, the Human Rights Council (HRC), by joining it.

Notwithstanding the meltdown in Egypt, Esther Brimmer, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of International Organization Affairs picked Tuesday to give her evidence for the success of the Obama foreign policy of engagement with the U.N. and its human rights world.

At a speech to the Brookings Institution she said: “Since the United States joined the Human Rights Council, it has not held a single special session on Israel.” Except that the U.S. took its seat on the Council September 14, 2009, and the Council held its sixth special session on Israel on October 15-16, 2009. It was a rather unforgettable session, actually, since it was the occasion the Council endorsed the notorious Goldstone report.

It is a mystery why the person in charge of international organizations in this country has no clue what the actual record is of the Council, but here is a short synopsis for her edification:http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2011/02/03/people-egypt-abandoned-years/

Federal Judge in Florida Rules Obamacare Unconstitutional

PENSACOLA, Fla. – A federal judge ruled Monday that the Obama administration's health care overhaul is unconstitutional, siding with 26 states that sued to block it. U.S. District Judge Roger Vinson accepted without trial the states' argument that the new law violates people's rights by forcing them to buy health insurance by 2014 or face penalties.
Attorneys for the administration had argued that the states did not have standing to challenge the law and that the case should be dismissed.
The next stop is likely the U.S. Supreme Court. Two other federal judges have upheld the insurance requirement, but a federal judge in Virginia also ruled the insurance provision violates the Constitution.
In his ruling, Vinson went further than the Virginia judge and declared the entire health care law unconstitutional.
"This is obviously a very difficult task. Regardless of how laudable its attempts may have been to accomplish these goals in passing the Act, Congress must operate within the bounds established by the Constitution," Vinson wrote in his 78-page ruling.
At issue was whether the government is reaching beyond its constitutional power to regulate interstate commerce by requiring citizens to purchase health insurance or face tax penalties.
Attorneys for President Barack Obama's administration had argued that the health care system was part of the interstate commerce system. They said the government can levy a tax penalty on Americans who decide not to purchase health insurance because all Americans are consumers of medical care.
But attorneys for the states said the administration was essentially coercing the states into participating in the overhaul by holding billions of Medicaid dollars hostage. The states also said the federal government is violating the Constitution by forcing a mandate on the states without providing money to pay for it.
Florida's former Republican Attorney General Bill McCollum filed the lawsuit just minutes after Obama signed the 10-year, $938 billion health care bill into law in March. He chose a court in Pensacola, one of Florida's most conservative cities. The nation's most influential small business lobby, the National Federation of Independent Business, also joined.
Other states that joined the suit are: Alabama, Alaska, Arizona, Colorado, Georgia, Indiana, Idaho, Iowa, Kansas, Louisiana, Maine, Michigan, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, North Dakota, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, South Dakota, Texas, Utah, Washington, Wisconsin and Wyoming.

O’Reilly: Moran’s Comments on Race 'Disparaging'

When Rep. James Moran, D-Va., told an Arab-language television network that reaction to President Barack Obama’s race was key to the GOP’s overwhelming 2010 election victory, he actually was O’Reilly,Moran,Comments,Race,Disparagingplaying to his very ethnically mixed and liberal home constituency, Geraldo Rivera said on Friday’s “The O’Reilly Factor.”

Bill O’Reilly countered the remarks were nonetheless extremely “disparaging,” because he was talking to an Arab audience, and though there remains a racial component in the way people vote, Moran’s comments made no sense, because “70 percent of the American public supported President Obama on his inauguration day.”

Speaking on the U.S.-funded Alhurra network, Moran said the GOP trouncing happened in reaction to Obama, “because a lot of people in this country don't want to be governed by an African-American, particularly one who is inclusive, who is liberal, wants to spend money on everyone, and wants to reach out and include everyone in our society.”

Rivera noted that Moran has been repeatedly elected in a predominantly liberal and very ethnically mixed congressional district.

“Let me just say that Moran was to an extent speaking to his district It's a Washington, D.C. suburb. 40 percent of it is Muslim, Hispanic or black. Half of the others are yuppie liberals,” Rivera said. “He has never lost. He has won seven or eight times in a row by more than 60 percent. So he is talking to the hometown audience.

Would-Be Suicide Bomber Killed by Unexpected SMS From Mobile Carrier

An unexpected and unwanted text message from a wireless company prematurely exploded a would-be suicide bomber’s vest bomb in Russia New Year’s Eve, inadvertently thwarting a planned attack on revelers in Moscow, according to The Daily Telegraph.
The would-be suicide bomber was planning to detonate a suicide belt bomb near Red Square, a plan that was foiled when her wireless carrier sent her an SMS while she was still at a safe house, setting off the bomb and killing her. The message reportedly wished her a Happy New Years, according to the report, which sourced the info from security forces in Russia. Cell phones are often used as makeshift detonators by terrorist and insurgent groups.
If true, the SMS might be the only time that a wireless carrier’s SMS message has ever been useful.
The authorities suspect the female bomber was part of the same Jihadist group that is suspected of hitting Moscow’s airport on Monday with a suicide bomb attack that killed 35.

Fox News responds to rabbis calling for sanctions on Glenn Beck

Fox News has issued a statement on the full-page ad that a coalition of several hundred rabbis took out in Thursday's Wall Street Journal.
The letter, addressed to News Corp. chairman Rupert Murdoch (see image here), requests that host Glenn Beck "be sanctioned by Fox News for his completely unacceptable attacks on a survivor of the Holocaust" -- philanthropist and financier George Soros -- and that Fox News chief executive "Roger Ailes apologize for his dismissive remarks about rabbis' sensitivity to how the Holocaust is used on the air." (News Corp. owns both Fox News and the Journal.)
In a statement provided to The Cutline, Joel Cheatwood, senior vice president of development for Fox News, said: "We haven't seen the ad, but this group is a George Soros backed left-wing political organization that has been trying to engage Glenn Beck primarily for publicity purposes."
The rabbi coalition's letter refers in part to Beck's Nov. 10, 2010 broadcast, part of a three-day series about the liberal billionaire. In that broadcast, Beck said that Soros, who lived apart from his parents in his early teens to avoid being apprehended by the Nazis, "used to go around with this anti-Semite and deliver papers to the Jews and confiscate their property and then ship them off. … It was frightening. Here's a Jewish boy helping send the Jews to the death camps." Soros, a Hungarian Jew, has spoken publicly about escaping the death camps by posing as a member of a Christian family. His protector's job was to confiscate property from Jews in Nazi-occupied Hungary.
The letter also states that Beck has made "literally hundreds of on-air references to the Holocaust and Nazis when characterizing people with whom [Beck] disagree[s]," and that he "routinely compares American leaders to Nazis."
Back in August, this blog reported that Cheatwood and Ailes met privately with three Jewish leaders over Beck's comments. At the time, Simon Greer, chief executive of the liberal Jewish Funds for Justice, told us that Ailes and Cheatwood acknowledged Beck had crossed a line. He also praised both executives, saying that "they took things very seriously, and I have a lot of respect for that."
The letter's mention of Ailes is a reference to comments the Fox News chief made to Howard Kurtz of The Daily Beast last November. He described complaints as coming from "left-wing rabbis who basically don't think that anybody can ever use the word, Holocaust, on the air."
In the same interview, Ailes called NPR executives Nazis for firing Juan Williams, who also works for Fox News. He subsequently apologized to the Anti-Defamation League for the remark, saying: "I was of course ad-libbing and should not have chosen that word, but I was angry at the time because of NPR's willingness to censor Juan Williams for not being liberal enough."
The signatories of Thursday's letter conclude: "It is not appropriate to accuse a 14-year old Jew hiding with a Christian family in Nazi-occupied Hungary of sending his people to death camps. It is not appropriate to call executives of another news agency 'Nazis.' And it is not appropriate to make literally hundreds of on-air references to the Holocaust and Nazis when characterizing people with whom you disagree."
Bailey: The article above was posted on the yahoo website, so you know that it's going to favor the Left-wingers.

3 Supreme Court Justices Skip Obama Speech

Three conservative members of the Supreme Court — Antonin Scalia, Clarence Thomas, and Samuel Alito — boycotted President Obama’s State of the Union address on Tuesday night, one year after Obama castigated the court in his address to Congress.

During last year’s address, Obama criticized the court for its Citizens United ruling that allowed corporate financing of political ad campaigns.http://www.newsmax.com/InsideCover/Obama-justices-Supreme-Court/2011/01/26/id/383974?s=al&promo_code=B8AC-1

Obama the Centrist?

If you’re looking for real specifics at tonight’s State of the Union, don’t hold your breath. The White House is billing the president’s annual January appearance in front of Congress much like something you’d hear at an “inauguration,” more atypical than most speeches that turn into political laundry lists.

If Obama’s inaugural address was any indication, expect a lofty oration that’s thin on details and heavy on the soaring rhetoric that helped propel the president into office. But don’t believe the spin that he’s moved to the middle. To win re-election, President Obama will, in true chameleon-like fashion, return to the man we met on the 2008 campaign trail, but only on the outside.

Over a Million Immigrants Landed Jobs in 2008-10

DALLAS (Reuters) - Over the past two years, as U.S. unemployment remained near double-digit levels and the economy shed jobs in the wake of the financial crisis, over a million foreign-born arrivals to America found work, many illegally.
Those are among the findings of a review of U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics and Census Bureau data conducted exclusively for Reuters by researchers at the Center for Labor Market Studies at Northeastern University in Boston.
Often young and unskilled or semi-skilled, immigrants have taken jobs Americans could do in areas like construction, willing to work for less wages. Others land jobs that unemployed Americans turn up their noses at or lack the skills to do.
With a national unemployment rate of 9.4 percent, domestic job creation is at the top of President Barack Obama's agenda and such findings could add to calls to tighten up on illegal immigration. But much of it is Hispanic and the growing Latino vote is a key base for Obama's Democratic Party.
Many of the new arrivals, according to employers, brought with them skills required of the building trade and found work in sectors such as construction, where jobless rates are high.
"Employers have chosen to use new immigrants over native-born workers and have continued to displace large numbers of blue-collar workers and young adults without college degrees," said Andrew Sum, the director of the Center for Labor Market Studies.
"One of the advantages of hiring, particularly young, undocumented immigrants, is the fact that employers do not have to pay health benefits or basic payroll taxes," said Sum.
From 2008 to 2010, 1.1 million new migrants who have entered America since 2008 landed jobs, even as U.S. household employment declined by 6.26 million over that same period.http://www.newsmax.com/Newsfront/immigrants-jobs-unemployment-illegals/2011/01/20/id/383360?s=al&promo_code=B81E-1
Bailey: The sentence above that I marked red is written by a person who apparently has never worked a regular job in America!
Americans do not turn up their noses at any job! If we don't take one it's because we're searching for jobs that pay enough to support our families here in America. The average American household usually consist of the Husband, Wife, and Children. That means there are only two people working and paying all the bills to support that family.
When illegals come over they will live together in one house (6 or 8) splitting all of the bills among themselves. Most of the time paying only 10% of what the average American Family has to spend on utilities, water, rent, etc. And on top of all that  for some reason the illegals are able to get all of the government benefits that are denied to the struggling American. Hell yeah! I would take a cheaper paying job if I had 6 or 8 complete strangers living in my house with me and my family splitting the bills!

China Loans to America!

Ahead of his visit to Washington this week, China's president calls the present U.S. dollar-dominated currency system a 'product of the past' and highlights moves to turn the yuan into a global currency.
Bailey: Is anyone really surprised by this? If you owe someone a lot of money, they can tell you anything they want to!

Russian reporter claims Tucson shootings the result of American freedom

You know what this country needs after a week of insanity on display in Tucson and insanity on display in the American media?  We need someone with whom we can all be angry — a handy whipping post to berate and mock.  Ladies and gentlemen, I give you our figure of unity … Russian reporter Andrei Sitov from TASS, assigned to the White House press corps, courtesy of Ann Compton http://hotair.com/archives/2011/01/14/russian-reporter-claims-tucson-shootings-the-result-of-american-freedom/

Obamanomics?

The Democrat-controlled General Assembly of Illinois (Obama State) voted to temporarily raise personal income taxes 66 percent, from 3 percent to 5 percent. Corporate rates will rise, too — from 4.8 percent to 7 percent — when Democratic Gov. Pat Quinn signs the measure.

Obama's State Dept. Removes Mother, Father From Passports

In what seems to be a diplomatic effort at extreme political correctness and a nod to gay rights groups, the Obama administration is removing the words “mother” and “father” from U.S. passport applications and replacing them with “gender neutral” terminology. Mom and dad will now be referred to rather coldly as “parent one” and “parent two.”

Conservative Christian groups are outraged over the decision.

“Only in the topsy-turvy world of left-wing political correctness could it be considered an ‘improvement’ for a birth-related document to provide less information about the circumstances of that birth,” Family Research Council president Tony Perkins wrote in a statement to Fox News Radio. “This is clearly designed to advance the causes of same-sex ‘marriage’ and homosexual parenting without statutory authority, and violates the spirit if not the letter of the Defense of Marriage Act.”

“The words in the old form were ‘mother’ and ‘father,’” Brenda Sprague, deputy assistant Secretary of State for Passport Services, confirmed Fox News. "They are now ‘parent one’ and ‘parent two.’"

passport, mother, father, abolished, gender, neutral, christian, gay, parents, obamaA statement on the State Department website noted: “These improvements are being made to provide a gender neutral description of a child’s parents and in recognition of different types of families.” The statement didn't note if it was for child applications only.

The new passport applications, not yet available to the public, will be available online soon. Sprague told Fox the decision to remove the traditional parenting names was not an act of political correctness.

“We find that with changes in medical science and reproductive technology that we are confronting situations now that we would not have anticipated 10 or 15 years ago,” she said.

Gay rights groups are applauding the decision.

“Changing the term mother and father to the more global term of parent allows many different types of families to be able to go and apply for a passport for their child without feeling like the government doesn’t recognize their family,” said Jennifer Chrisler, executive director of Family Equality Council.

Her organization lobbied the government for several years to remove the words from passport applications.

“Our government needs to recognize that the family structure is changing,” Chrisler said. “The best thing that we can do is support people who are raising kids in loving, stable families.”

The new gender-neutral passport application will be rolled out in February.

Arizona Massacre Prompts Political 'Cheap Shots'

When Arizona Rep. Gabrielle Giffords collapsed outside the Safeway in Tucson Saturday morning, felled by a hail of bullets that killed six and wounded another 13 innocent people that had come to see her, some were quick to claim that the carnage was the product not merely of the tortured mind and trigger-happy fingers of the alleged shooter, 22-year-old Jared Lee Loughner.

Rather, many on the American Left said the horror could be traced to the malign influence of American conservatives; members of the Tea Party; right-wing pundits Rush Limbaugh and Glenn Beck; former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin; and Fox News.

That was the narrative of culpability spun in the immediate aftermath of the shootings by some leading liberal commentators and Democratic politicians -- despite warnings from religious leaders, lawyers, academics, ethicists, reporters and historians that such a rush to judgment only further deepens the partisan divide in America, and further poisons its discourse.

House GOP Preparing Major Investigations of Obama Administration

President Barack Obama and the Democrats will face a newly invigorated House Republican leadership this week with sweeping plans for congressional investigations into a wide range of issues.

Rep. Darrell Issa, R-Calif., who will become chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee when the 112th Congress is sworn in Wednesday, told The Washington Post he plans to lead six major investigations in the first three months of the year. That will call for a grueling schedule, since congressional investigations often take months to bear fruit.

On Issa’s list:

• WikiLeaks' release of classified diplomatic cables
• Recalls at the Food and Drug Administration
• The role of Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac in the foreclosure crisis
• The Financial Crisis Inquiry Commission's failure to identify the origins of the meltdown
• Alleged corruption in Afghanistan

How come unemployment is still up?

It don't take a rocket scientist to figure that one out! Millions of U.S. manufacturing jobs have moved overseas. Why you ask? Well one reason could be the fact that in China and other countries the manufacturing industry is not choked down with government anti- pollution  and tree hugging  regulations. To much of a good thing will kill anything!
If a U.S. company can make a bigger profit by paying less taxes and having less restrictions placed on them, why blame them for outsourcing? So you should thank our government politicians (Gore) for one of the reasons you can't found a job.
