Obama Saves/Creates Us!

John Ransom

During Obama’s campaign infomercial that CBS News produced on Wednesday regarding the economy and jobs, he showed again why he is unfitted for the job of president.
In an exchange with a Karen Gallo, a federal employee with the National Zoo who is being laid off because the rest of us can’t afford to keep paying more and more for a zoo every year, CBS News served a huge floating fastball for the president to hit out of the park.
Our country is in trouble, read the sub-text, and only Obama can save it!
Putting aside the fact that no self-respecting person with real confidence would promote themselves in this way, I wonder what Obama thought he was suppose to be doing in his first three years as president?
Now all of a sudden he wants to be relevant again?
After Gallo complained that she’ll be out of work soon, and explained that she is pregnant and building a house, Obama took his cut:  http://finance.townhall.com/columnists/johnransom/2011/05/13/obama_savescreates_us!

Judges Hearing Arguments on Obama Law Appointed by Democrats

All three judges that will hear Tuesday's arguments on the constitutionality of President Obama's health care law were appointed by Democratic presidents, including two by Obama himself.
The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit made the announcement shortly before the trial started, even though the case has been scheduled for months. Judges Diana Motz, the senior member of the panel, was appointed to the bench by President Bill Clinton in 1994. Andre Davis and James Wynn were appointed by Obama.

Arizona Appeals to Supreme Court on Immigration Law

PHOENIX -- Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer announced Monday she will ask the U.S. Supreme Court to overturn a ruling that put the most controversial parts of the state's immigration enforcement law on hold. The law was passed in April 2010 amid years of complaints that the federal government hasn't done enough to lessen the state's role as the nation's busiest illegal entry point. Its passage inspired protests and led to lawsuits seeking to overturn the law and a debate about whether the law would lead to racial profiling.

Ariz. Sheriff: Feds Order Release of Illegals

The U.S. Border Patrol has told its agents to stop arresting illegal aliens crossing the border from Mexico to keep the illegal immigration numbers down, Arizona Sheriff Larry Dever tells Newsmax.

He also charges that Attorney General Eric Holder is “holding hands with the ACLU” to protect illegal aliens from prosecution, says illegals are committing “heinous crimes” across America every day, and calls claims that the federal government should be solely responsible for controlling illegal immigration “balderdash.”

Dever is sheriff of Cochise County, which shares an 83-mile border with Mexico, and he says his Border Patrol sector is responsible for half of all illegal aliens caught trying to enter the country and halt the narcotics entering the United States.

Citizens Oppose Preferential Tuition Rates for Illegal Aliens

tuition_battle58,000 signatures needed to get issue on 2012 ballot
Marylanders, frustrated with a bill granting in-state college tuition rates to some illegal immigrants, have launched a petition drive to send the measure to voters.
Parrott and his team set up www.mdpetitions.com, where petition supporters can print out copies and read instructions on how to collect signatures.
The goal is to get enough signatures from registered voters to put the tuition measure on the 2012 general election ballot for voters to decide. They need 18,500 signatures by the end of May and about 58,000 signatures by the end of June – the latter representing 3 percent of Maryland’s voters.
“The people of Maryland are upset this bill passed. They’re upset because they thought illegal means illegal,” said Del. Neil Parrott, R-Washington County, who is running the petition effort.http://www.usbc.org/destroying-america/immigration-news/citizens-oppose-preferential-tuition-rates-for-illegal-aliens/
