Stop Supporting The NFL The media is rife with reports that make it clear the NFL is looking to pander to left-wing social justice causes and BLM.
Bread and circuses.
While
big business, big government, and mainstream media all collude to
destroy America they are keeping many people distracted with the age old
business of bread and circuses.
This alone is a bad thing, but it is made even worse when they pander to left wing groups and virtue signal Marxist values.
Stop supporting the NFL. Stop watching televised sports.
There are far better things to do than to sit around in front of a television for hours watching people throw a ball around.
Colin
Kaepernick started to trend on social media during halftime of Super
Bowl LV on Sunday as viewers watching the game took issue with the NFL’s
commercial about its social justice initiatives.
The NFL’s
Inspire Change commercial included footage of the protests against
racial injustice and police brutality as well as LaDanian Tomlinson’s
Hall of Fame speech talking about how football brings people together.
The commercial showed players wearing the names of victims of police
brutality on the back of their helmets as well as players locking arms
in a show of solidarity and kneeling on the sidelines.
"The NFL is committing $250 million to help end systemic racism," the commercial said.
But those watching the Super Bowl said Kaepernick should have been included in some way.
In
June, the NFL announced its plan to take on systemic racism after
Kaepernick’s protest fell on flat ears years ago. A person familiar with
the NFL’s “Inspire Change” program told NFL.com at the time that it
hopes to work with Kaepernick in the future.
“We wouldn’t be where
we are today without the work Colin and other players have led off,”
the person said at the time. “That is a key point here. We listened to
our players. We needed to listen more, we needed to move faster. We
heard them and launched a social justice platform because of what Colin
was protesting about.
“The players have always been an essential
piece of this effort and this campaign. It would be awesome to engage
Colin on some of the work we are doing. He’s doing real impactful work.
Getting him in some way would be amazing for us. There’s a lot of work
to do to get to that point. We’re certainly open and willing to do
that.”
