Biden Makes Bizarre Comment About East Palestine, Says Things He Shouldn't in Interview

Biden scoffs at East Palestine mayor who claimed he 'doesn't care' about town amid trip to Ukraine | Fox News

Sometimes, I listen to Joe Biden–and all I can think is: he is one weird dude.

He was asked on Friday if he would be visiting the site of the train derailment in East Palestine, Ohio, and his response was bizarre. He said he did a “whole video,” and he couldn’t remember that it was a “Zoom” video.

"Are you planning on traveling to East Palestine?"

BIDEN: "At this moment not. I was, I did a whole video, I mean, uh, you know, the uh, what the hell? On…"

"Zoom?"

BIDEN: "Zoom. All I can hear every time I think of Zoom is that song of my generation, 'Who's Zoomin' Who?'" pic.twitter.com/fBWAVar7Gm

“Zoom. All I can hear every time I think of Zoom is that song of my generation, ‘Who’s Zoomin’ Who?'” Biden babbled.

Yikes. At this point, he’s just not a serious person; he seems completely out of it. You have a disaster in East Palestine, and that’s how he’s responding?

He had a chance to reach out to the folks in East Palestine, to show Americans that he cared. It would even have been advantageous to him politically had he done it. Yet, he couldn’t do it. Even now, more than three weeks later, he’s saying he’s done so much because he made a Zoom call and spent two hours with his Cabinet.

Biden then did an interview with ABC’s David Muir where he was asked about East Palestine. Biden claimed that he couldn’t remember if he talked to the mayor but he talked to everyone else.

"So do you plan to travel [to East Palestine] and have you talked to the mayor?"

BIDEN: "I can't recall…I've talked to everyone there is to talk to" pic.twitter.com/kvVbtlmIKo

Then Muir asked him if he was running again. He said that he would have to check with his wife, which I think was supposed to be a joke, but probably there’s also a lot of truth there as well. At this point, I think he doesn’t know what he’s doing unless his handlers tell him. But he said there were too many other things he had to deal with in the near term, before he started a campaign.

Q: "Are you running?"

BIDEN: "Well apparently someone interviewed my wife today I heard and I gotta call her and find out." pic.twitter.com/l2eel05mG9

His wife said that pretty much the only thing they had to work out was where he was going to announce running again.

"[Joe] says he's not done. He's not finished what he's started, and that's what's important," says Jill Biden, Ed.D.

"Look at all that Joe has done, has accomplished!" pic.twitter.com/Nt1TINhWj1

“He’s not finished what he’s started, and that’s what’s important,” Jill Biden declared. Oh, my, you mean he’s not finished with us yet? What a horrible thought. He still has more things that he can mess up and destroy.

“Look at all that Joe has done, has accomplished!” she bragged. I’m not sure I can think of one positive thing.

Muir also asked Biden about the classified documents, and if they compromised “sources and methods.” Biden ducked the question. Check out his eyes on this one; he’s disturbed by this question, likely because it’s right on target.

"Can you assure the American people that none of the [classified] documents discovered in your garage or at your old office compromised 'sources or methods' or U.S. intelligence?"

BIDEN: "Maybe…I'm told not to comment on that because I don't even know what they confiscated." pic.twitter.com/x2tZbF9tuL

Biden elaborated on what he said in a prior interview about a document from 1974 from his Senate days. Now, he says it’s a “couple of things” from that period. But it’s already been established there are some 30 documents including from more recent times, as well, and including things that were top secret at his Penn Biden Center office–contrary to what Joe is saying here.

Muir asked him more about his irresponsibility and Biden claimed there were “degrees of irresponsibility,” claiming they just didn’t check when things were packed from his office.

Reporter: "You called Trump irresponsible [for classified documents]. Is there something irresponsible here too?"

Biden: "You're a good lawyer but you're trying to make a comparison. There are degrees of irresponsibility." pic.twitter.com/m8MqeRFOvn

He’s right — there are degrees. Trump could get away with the “boxes were hurriedly packed excuse.” But Biden has documents from different offices — from his time in the Senate and his time as VP. To get classified documents from his time in the Senate raises a big question — did he smuggle them out of a SCIF? Because that’s how you’re supposed to be viewing them. He shouldn’t even have them at all, at any point, in his possession. It’s an issue that’s been going on with him for decades.

Muir also inquired about the Chinese spy balloon and whether Biden thought it was intentional and if Xi Jinping knew.

"Do we know definitively yet whether or not that [Chinese] spy balloon was flying over the continental U.S. intentionally?"

BIDEN (who watched it fly over the entire U.S. before shooting it down): "It is almost not relevant once it was over the United States" pic.twitter.com/fc9m5Yv5R2

— RNC Research (@RNCResearch) February 24, 2023

Biden said, “It is almost not relevant once it was over the United States,” and he said Xi might not have known. That’s nuts. Of course, Xi knew and yes, it’s very relevant if it was intentional and collecting data, while Biden let it go over the country for a week.

Muir observed that we’ve already given $113 billion to Ukraine, and there appears to be no end in sight of how much of our money and weaponry Biden will pour out. Muir said many Americans were asking what was the limit on this.

ABC's David Muir asks Biden about the Americans who are concerned about how much money we're spending in Ukraine and how long until we're done.

Biden dismisses the question: "I'm not sure how many are asking that. I know the MAGA crowd is. The right-wing Republicans…" pic.twitter.com/mQtyC9dZXD

Biden downplayed the concern of Americans, “I’m not sure how many are asking that. I know the MAGA crowd is. The right-wing Republicans.” I can assure him it’s far more than that. But once again, there goes the “unifier” taking a shot at millions of Americans and denigrating their justifiable concerns. He’s just clueless as to what most Americans are thinking.

Biden just keeps stepping in it, and I can’t imagine how he could possibly make it through a campaign when he’s already so far gone.
