In the wake of Joe Biden’s disastrous Thursday night debate performance, the president has been taking a lot of heat—but he’s not the only one. Joe’s wife, aka the First Lady, Dr. Jill Biden, has also been subject to withering criticism from myriad pundits who accuse her of being a power-drunk, heartless Lady Macbeth, pushing her clueless husband to keep running despite his obvious mental confusion. We’ve been all over it here at RedState: Enabler-in-chief It’s Clear Ice Queen Jill Biden Does Not Have an Ounce of Compassion for Her Husband But if there’s anybody who should know about the mind of Mrs. Biden, it’s someone who was married to her for five years. Granted, it was a long time ago, but Bill Stevenson was espoused to the Doctor of Education from 1970 to 1975, and he no longer recognizes the woman he once loved:
But Stevenson wonders if it’s really Joe behind the obsession to continue running, despite the president's obvious cognitive decline.
Stevenson, to his credit, seems to make an effort not to completely trash his ex-wife in his comments, but he feels no such compunction when talking about the president himself:
Whoa. Tell us what you really think. Biden’s debate performance on Thursday night was so horrendous that pundits on all sides of the political divide are calling for him to exit the presidential race. Time to hang it up Report: Biden Expected to Meet With Family at Camp David to Discuss the Future of His Campaign Freefall: Major Swing State Newspaper Tells Biden to 'Pass the Torch' After Debate Fiasco Stevenson has made news before, questioning the Jill-Joe Harlequin Romance narrative and even writing a book about how the now-Oval Office occupants had an affair in the '70s—while she was still married to him. Many—including myself—have wondered if Joe Biden’s time in office has really been just the third term of Barack Obama. But what if it’s actually Jill “Doctor of Education” Biden who’s been the power behind the throne all this time? That narrative seems more plausible with each new day. |
