Washington this week as pressure for Biden to withdraw as the Democratic
nominee for the presidency continues to mount. Joe Biden’s crumbling support has reached his campaign’s pocketbook. A group of Democrat donors are now withholding $90 million in pledges from Biden’s main super-PAC, Future Forward. The New York Times reported on Friday that wealthy donors have frozen donations to the PAC as long as Biden remains on the Democrat ticket. The report did not name the specific donors withholding cash from the campaign. However, several of Biden’s wealthiest supporters have urged him to drop out since the debate including Netflix’s Reed Hastings and IAC Chair Barry Diller. Mark Cuban said Democrats need to consider someone else. The plunge in financial support comes just hours after Biden bragged about his large campaign at the NATO press conference.
