People Like This Are The Real Problem In America. Even as the Kamala Harris team is trying to sell us on the "joy" of the cackle (as opposed to how wacky it truly is), they themselves are reportedly a tension wracked group of folks, struggling to figure out who's doing what. It has Harris loyalists and Biden alumni grafter on top of Biden people, as Fox's Peter Doocy dished, with people leaking about the issues. It's the "Frankenstein" team. New people are remaking the campaign on the fly. The result is a large and at times unwieldy team, with internal worries about cohesiveness when inevitable stumbles arise, six people involved in the campaign tell Axios.
That's already a problem -- you have six people leaking this out to the media. When that many people are leaking about problems to the media, it's not good. The confusion is in "role clarity" among some of the staff. They also have to deal with the fact that some of them think the Obama folks threw Biden under the bus. It's gotta be interesting to have all those disparate parts interacting. On top of it all, the Biden folks are frustrated "by having to defend Harris for her past support of progressive issues such as Medicare for All and banning fracking":
Harris has been flip-flopping
all over the place, knowing the American people are not enamored of her radical positions; even the CNN fact-checker had to call her out on what she said in her CNN interview about her position on banning fracking. READ MORE: Even CNN Has Questions and Is Now Fact-Checking Kamala Interview, So You Know It Did Not Go Well But that figures. If they can't run a country, they can't run a campaign. Meanwhile, who is running the country? As Doocy noted, Biden was seen sitting on the beach for "hours" on Wednesday. He's been on his latest vacation since he left the first night of the DNC, after his speech on Aug. 19. He first stayed at a donor's home in California and then after several days there, he went back to his home in Rehoboth Beach on Sunday. Doocy said there was "very little going on at the White House," and a "very well-placed source" told him the general feeling was one of "senioritis" [which generally translates to decline in performance and interest, i.e. everyone wants out already]. Not exactly reassuring. You have a guy who's already acting like he's out of there, on permanent vacation, and Kamala Harris who's focused on her own campaign. That's where Democrats have brought us and they want you to vote for them again, so they can bring about more chaos. Why would anyone vote for this when all they do is bring us lies, failure, and an economy that crushes us? Especially when they treat us like we don't even have a right to know her positions, which seem to change like the wind, and they already seem uninterested and checked out of their jobs. |
