Biden, Harris Comments in Hurricane-Affected Area Raise Questions and Anger; Elon Wrecks Them in Tweet

Joe Biden and Kamala Harris got around to going to North Carolina and Georgia on Wednesday to review the damage from Hurricane Helene.

But in the face of all the devastation that has happened in the region, what Harris had to say seemed to be pitifully lacking.

Just as Biden did in Maui after the huge fire there when he promised $700, Harris promised a paltry sum of $750 payment to people, some of whom may just have lost everything.

Kamala went to Georgia today and bragged about giving $750 in federal assistance to the hurricane victims — whose entire livelihoods have been completely destroyed.

If you lost your home, that would barely pay for a few days in a hotel and food for a family. And you can apply for it online, she said. Assuming you had power.

Many sounded off on this statement from Harris, raising questions like how much money has been given to Ukraine? Or to all kinds of services and assistance for illegal aliens? $750 is a pittance by comparison.

Meanwhile, Biden, the generally absent leader, was in North Carolina. Watch how slow he is taking his seat, while all around him are moving at normal speed.

Then it was shameful that he used the hurricane to attack any American who didn't hew to his climate chance cult mantra.

He should be concentrating on helping people, not pushing his political agenda. Imagine Biden calling anyone else braindead. By the way, this is the same line that he delivers after every hurricane.

But then Biden said something else that took some nerve. He spoke about directing Starlink systems to help communication in the affected areas.

Biden: I've also directed the development of Starlink satellites for victims of the hurricane.

Biden's FCC revoked the SpaceX Starlink award, or the systems could have been in place to help out already, Elon Musk said.

Had the FCC not illegally revoked the SpaceX Starlink award, it would probably have saved lives in North Carolina.

And what about the $42 billion for the broadband initiative to help rural areas? The Biden-Harris team hasn't connected anything yet.

Trump spoke about the great need to Musk and Musk said they were deploying more systems to areas of need.

God bless Trump and Elon Musk for working to provide Starlink and other resources to the people who are still trapped and devastated by Helene. Western NC has no cell service, no power, no water, and no way in or out.

Yet it’s crickets from the Biden Harris administration. 😩 🦗 pic.twitter.com/Ro18FycR3s

Since the Hurricane Helene disaster, SpaceX has sent as many Starlink terminals as possible to help areas in need.

Earlier today, @realDonaldTrump alerted me to additional people who need Starlink Internet in North Carolina. We are sending them terminals right away.

Ivanka Trump was among the people helping provide some of the systems.

YUGE shout out to @IvankaTrump and the Love and Light Foundation for flying in 300 STARLINK units for the #helene victims of the #NorthCarolinaFlood ! #unitedisstrength #unitedcajunnavy #CajunNavy #Helene pic.twitter.com/H6QPX9OPHu

Good for Trump, Elon Musk, Ivanka and others for getting it all together for the people who need it.
