Over the past 24 hours, the people who know Secretary of Defense nominee Pete Hegseth the best have thronged to his side in his defense after a Biden administration hack said on MSNBC that Hegseth is "a known white supremacist." At the time, it appeared that the radical leftist was upset that he doesn't subscribe to woke policies in the military (and perhaps, anywhere funded by the government). Regardless of the reason, as I wrote, it was so inflammatory that a former White House aide who worked for First Lady Jill Biden felt the need to speak against such a disgusting tactic. They should be ashamed, absolutely, but like the Charlotteville smear against President Trump, the left uses whatever tool it can--however dishonest--to work its will. This is just a part of who they are. Don't expect a retraction or any semblance of an apology from the AP anytime soon.
