Richard Spencer is quite a piece of work. He has been known for his advocacy for white supremacy. I mean, for all the hot air the Democrats have blown about white supremacists hiding behind every tree, there were bound to be one or two actual white supremacists around, right? But while Richard Spencer, the guy who supposedly coined the term "Alt-Right" held these views in the recent past, and has spoken on them in places like Charlottesville during the 2017 rally there, he claims to have moderated his views, enough to vote for Joe Biden (who is, we admit, a person of pallor) in 2020. Now he's throwing his weight behind Kamala Harris. Yes, really.
Now the legacy media, we must note, are famous for blowing things out of proportion, especially when there are cries of "white supremacists!" to be cried. But Spencer, at least in 2017, seems to have been the real deal. That's interesting, since most of these supposed "white supremacists" are leftist fakes. See Related: Fake 'Neo-Nazi MAGA Supporters' Try to Crash Trump Boat Parade, Taste Epic Humiliation As recently as 2022, Spencer claimed to have moderated his views. As noted above, he claims to have supported Joe Biden in 2020:
He sounds like he'd be right at home in today's Democratic Party. Quick, someone send Jaime Harrison a note! And get this guy on "The View," stat - it sounds like they'll love him. Spencer's not alone; the other confirmed, actual, living breathing white supremacist around today, David Duke, has previously praised Democrats:
Wow. Just... wow. To be fair, the Harris campaign can't stop people from endorsing her or pledging their support. Both campaigns have been beset, from time to time, with claims of support from people who have all the electoral appeal of a six-week-dead woodchuck under the front porch. But these endorsements, for not only Kamala Harris but also Ilhan Omar, two "women of color" who claim that one can find a horde of ravening white supremacists under any flat rock - that's just too funny for words. And, of course:
You don't say. This seems appropriate. |
