FBI Director Christopher Wray has resigned, according to multiple reports. The move comes as President-elect Donald Trump has made it abundantly clear that he wants Wray gone; in fact, he’s already picked his choice to be his successor, Kash Patel. Fox News reports that Wray is announcing the move in an “all-staff town hall” with thousands of FBI employees across the country. He was seven years into his 10-year term. The August 2022 raid on Mar-a-Lago in the classified documents case was perhaps the most egregious example of that, as they did no such thing at Joe Biden’s house when he, too, was found to have classified documents.
