Peter Doocy Reveals What Actually Happened After Hot Mic Caught Biden Calling Him a 'Son of a B'

Fox News reporter Peter Doocy has made a name for himself by pushing back on the gaslighting narratives Press Secretary Karine Jean-Pierre would try to foist on the American people during her always-cranky WH press briefings. He didn’t do it in the manner of that insufferable narcissist, CNN’s Jim Acosta, who made an art out of grandstanding and making it about himself during Trump's first term; Doocy simply asked pointed questions and followed up when the answers inevitably made no sense.

One moment got particular attention: that time in 2022 when Joe Biden was caught calling Doocy a “stupid son-of-b****.”

Now Doocy is dishing on what happened in the aftermath and what the soon-to-be former president said to him.

A hot mic caught Biden calling Doocy a “stupid son of a bitch” after he asked about the potential “political liability” inflation could have for Democrats during a press conference in January 2022. The Fox News correspondent, who has covered Biden since the launch of his 2020 campaign, said the president called him to address the name call and promised to take him out for lunch, which never ended up occurring.

Never ended up occurring? You don’t say! You mean Honest Joe broke another promise?

Doocy continued:

“I feel like I can say this now because it [the lunch] never happened,” Doocy told the “Fox & Friends” co-hosts. “HE called me and initially he told me ‘it’s nothing personal, pal’ that he said a bad word. And he also said, and this was at the tail-end of COVID, he said he would have me in for lunch when it was safe. Well, I think his lunch card is probably filled, it never happened. So, it was never safe to have lunch with me.”

Many of us here at RedState have been harshly critical of KJP because she was an ornery, gaslighting, awful press secretary, but Doocy commended her for one thing: she continued to call on him despite their frequent clashes. For that, I will give her a modicum of credit:

Doocy also revealed some inside information about the current mood in the White House as they prepare to hand the place over to their conqueror, Donald Trump. Hint: it’s dark:

The reporter added that there are empty picture frames and turned off televisions currently inside the White House, indicating that the staff does not want to watch the current coverage of President-elect Donald Trump’s upcoming administration. He further added in a separate segment that Biden’s team repeatedly “minimized” him by using “stagecraft,” including loud music and large crowds, to restrict the press access to ask him direct questions throughout his administration.

Goodbye, classless Joe Biden, goodbye, angry KJP. I don’t mean to be mean, but… sorry, we won’t miss you after what you did to this country.
