Kathy Griffin urges her fans to make a list of ‘MAGA’ neighbors amid immigration enforcement operations: ‘If you're silent, you're complicit’

Left-wing comedian and actress Kathy Griffin recently advised her fans and social media followers to compile a list of “MAGA” Trump supporters in their neighborhood.

She also criticized U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for doing their jobs while characterizing immigrant detention centers as “concentration camps.”

“I know you don’t want to participate in something radical. I don’t either… but it is happening all around you,” Griffin said. “It’s happening around you. I live in Los Angeles. It’s happening at targeted places in Los Angeles. And I think it’s time to talk to the neighbors in real life. It’s time to talk to your neighbors. Find out if they’re MAGA or not. Sorry, but we have to know who’s on our team and start to plan.”

While Griffin further proposed mobilizing likeminded individuals into a network of small groups, she provided no further details regarding the intended purpose or activities of these units.

“Is there a way we can do something as a community?” Griffin continued. “When I hear from my followers in Minnesota, they describe a very sophisticated channel of a system of things that they do to help one another. And they use encrypted apps. And, like I said, everyone has whistles and honks their horn, but they organize in small groups.”

Griffin noted that anti-ICE protesters and rioters utilize whistles and honking as a tactical early-warning system to signal the presence of federal agents in a neighborhood.

Observers also suggest that this persistent noise is intended to psychologically “trigger” federal agents, potentially provoking a more volatile or aggressive response.

Continuing her call for operational “security,” Griffin further advocated for the use of encrypted apps to protect anti-government communications.

She declared that the “progressive” movement has shed its former skin, emerging from the chaos of the George Floyd (BLM) protests as a far more organized and formidable force. The “My Life on the D-List” star also signaled a shift toward the shadows, implying that supporters have traded public outcry for clandestine coordination and sophisticated evasion tactics.

“And they [other leftists] have told me that they learned this from the George Floyd incident, because George Floyd was murdered 20 blocks away from these other murders, roughly. And so they said they learned a lot from that experience,” she continued. “So I’m just telling you guys, live your life, but be conscious of this. And if you’re silent, you’re complicit.”

In the context of escalating immigration enforcement under Trump’s second term, Griffin’s remarks reference recent deaths in Minneapolis, including the January 7th shooting of Renée Good and the January 24th shooting of Alex Pretti — two 37-year-old anti-ICE agitators who put themselves in a dangerous position in order to protest and fight back against federal agents working to capture criminal illegal aliens in the region.
