'Never Want to Be on the Other Side of That Again': Terrified Venezuelan Guard on Alleged New US Weapon

A harrowing eyewitness account from a Venezuelan guard who was on the ground when Operation Absolute Resolve hit — the mission to nab illegitimate then-president Nicolás Maduro — describes an unknown sonic weapon used by the U.S. against his security forces. According to the guard, the sonic blast caused them to experience headaches, disorientation, and vomiting of blood as they were completely incapacitated.

 But is this report true? Did we unleash some heretofore unknown powerful weapon that literally floored much of the enemy before any shots were even fired?

In a Saturday social media post, White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt seemed to imply that the answer was “yes.”

Now, of course, she didn’t come right out and confirm it, but for a close Trump ally to say “stop what you’re doing and read this” certainly makes you take notice. You’d have to imagine she wouldn’t do such a thing lightly.

The witness’ account describes a debilitating sonic force:

Venezuelan soldiers were reportedly brought to their knees, "bleeding through the nose," and vomiting blood, according to an eyewitness account from a Venezuelan guard to the dictator.

"At one point, they launched something; I don't know how to describe it," according to the account posted to X.

"It was like a very intense sound wave. Suddenly, I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.

"It was like a very intense sound wave."

He added that as a result, his comrades were not able to fight back.

"We had no way to compete with their technology, with their weapons," he said. "I swear, I've never seen anything like it. We couldn't even stand up after that sonic weapon or whatever it was."

It wouldn’t be the first time sonic weapons have been used in the field of combat:

The military has had directed energy weapons — which neutralize targets using focused energy such as microwaves or laser beams — for years, but this could be the first time it’s been used in combat by the US, an ex-US intelligence source told The Post. China reportedly used a microwave weapon in 2020 against Indian soldiers during a border dispute in Ladakh. 

The source noted that those weapons have capability to produce at least some of the symptoms, including “bleeding, inability to move or function, pain and burning.”

“I can’t say all of those symptoms. But yes, some,” the source said. “And we’ve had versions for decades.”

We’ll have to see whether the administration confirms that a new, incredibly powerful weapon was used. In the meantime, however, dictators and drug lords in South and Central America are likely quaking in their boots. “I’m sending a warning to anyone who thinks they can fight the United States,” the witness said. “They have no idea what they’re capable of. "

"After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again. They’re not to be messed with.”
