| Welcome to another edition of the "Stream of Kurtiousness"! I had an adventure the other morning. I got a call from a North Carolina number, which seemed odd, but I had had a heads-up, so I knew what might be coming. It was a very nice-sounding, youngish, 20-something female who probably went to an Ivy League school, who sounded kind of condescending-y, from The New York Times, and she wanted to talk to me about my use of a certain word. Guess how that went. |
