Dems Are Losing Their Minds, Launching the Usual Fear Tactics After SCOTUS Lets DOGE Get on With Its Work

It can sound trite to keep saying this, but it keeps floating to the top of mind only because the Democrats prove it time and time again: Their leadership has no shame at all. Democrats are currently losing their minds over the Supreme Court's decisions on Friday that let the department of government efficiency (DOGE) do its work at the direction of the executive branch, continuing the Dems' default disturbing behavior.

Just consider Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY), who began making disconcerting threats against Department of Homeland Security (DHS) officials in May, as my colleague Nick Arama wrote:

But on Tuesday, he made it even worse by threatening DHS officials. "They'll find out," he said if DHS decided to arrest the Democrats in question. 

He repeated it a couple of times. Then he said, "It's a red line. They know better than to go down that road...There are clear lines that they just dare not cross."

Jeffries went on to ramble about President Donald Trump's popularity. 

Incredibly, Rep. Jeffries wasn't done with this narrative; more recently, he has threatened to dox U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and DHS agents.

Arizona congresscritter and one of the candidates vying for the Republican gubernatorial nom, Andy Biggs calls out Jeffries' actions as "reprehensible," writing on X on Friday that this only confirms something conservatives already know: "Democrats continue to be pro-crime and anti-law enforcement."

As I mentioned, the U.S. Supreme Court handed down a pair of decisions earlier in the day that released the stranglehold on much needed work getting done by DOGE, spawned by activists and public sector union thugs who filed lawsuits in hopes of thwarting the president's promised reform agenda. As RedState's Susie Moore wrote:

First, in the case styled American Federation of State, County, and Municipal Employees, AFL-CIO v. SSA, challenging DOGE access to personal financial records, the court granted the administration's application to stay the case pending appeal.

The practical effect here is, as noted above, that the SSA DOGE team may proceed with its work accessing necessary agency records while the case remains pending on appeal before the 4th Circuit. 

Here' are details on the second case that brought victory for Team Trump:

The second win for the administration comes in the case of CREW v. DOGE, involving the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and efforts by the plaintiff (Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington — one of Norm Eisen's babies, by the way) to have DOGE declared an agency subject to FOIA requests and requiring the preservation of records under the Federal Records Act.

Queue the next wave of tantrums by the Democrat Party. On Thursday, a certain Massachusetts Democrat lawmaker wrote on her X account (dishonestly) "that 16 MILLION people will lose their health care coverage" if the reconciliation bill becomes law. She had a terrible follow-up on Friday:

Rep. Clark's full post read:

"The Supreme Court just gave DOGE a green light to go fishing in Americans' private data.

Your Social Security number. Your medical history. Your finances. All in the hands of unqualified, unelected — and unaccountable — officials.

Republicans are ready to dismantle our oversight safeguards and auction off your info to the highest bidder."

To call this statement deranged is an understatement. It would be foolhardy to hunt for an honest word among that pile of lies. It also shows something else, that fear is the only tool the Democrats seem to have left in their toolbox.

Anyway, this is akin to how toddlers who are teething act, not grown adults who are supposed to represent the American people and understand how our form of government works. The Democrats have completely misread the 2024 election, if they think this will fly. Pres. Trump and those acting alongside him in the government are working ceaselessly to abolish waste, fraud, and abuses to the system; that is what so many of the American people elected him to do. If Dems have a problem with that instead of fearmongering or threatening people, they need to devote their energy to winning more elections. It's as simple as that.
