Eric Swalwell Continues to Crash and Burn As Billionaire Boots Him From Mansion He Was Hiding In

California Rep. Eric Swalwell (CA-14) has just seen one of the most stunning political implosions you will ever see. Just days ago, he was the frontrunner in the California gubernatorial race, but on Friday, the San Francisco Chronicle reported on extremely serious sexual allegations against the congressman, and since then, his world has imploded.

Almost every person or organization who endorsed him has rescinded their support, Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg has opened an investigation, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) has indicated she’s going to file a motion to expel him from Congress, and the pugnacious Rep. finally gave into the overwhelming outcry Sunday and dropped his bid to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom, who will (thankfully), be termed out in early 2027.

But it only got worse for Swalwell on Sunday. He had been holed up at his billionaire friends’ house,

where he filmed his already infamous “I didn’t do it!” video Friday. But now that guy, too, is throwing him to the wind:

Lefty billionaire Stephen Cloobeck

dramatically cut ties with Eric Swalwell and revealed he has kicked him out of his mansion — hours before the congressman dropped his run for California governor.

“I am no longer supporting Eric,” Cloobeck told The Post in an exclusive interview. “F—ing tell everyone I’m a libertarian. F— you, Democrat Party. I’m a libertarian now.”

The ugly break-up between the timeshare mogul and Bay Area congressman — who pulled out of the governor’s race late Sunday — marks yet another stunning point in Swalwell’s cratering political career.

But let's not nominate Cloobeck for hero status just yet, because there are many questions about the Las Vegas timeshare entrepreneur himself, as he casts his own dubious shadow. “Birds of a feather flock together,” as they say.

Following public allegations Friday of rape, sexual assault and other sexual misconduct made by several women who knew or worked for Swalwell, the Bay Area congressman lost most of his endorsements, he’s potentially facing expulsion from Congress and become the subject of a criminal investigation.

Cloobeck spent more than $1 million supporting Swalwell’s candidacy, and the embattled congressman filmed his denial video Friday from inside the billionaire’s palatial Beverly Hills mansion.

Cloobeck confirmed Swalwell was no longer staying with him and the billionaire’s alleged honeytrapper fiancĂ©e, who has been accused of burglarizing the homes of other rich, old men in Los Angeles.

“I have a lot of people who stay at my house,” Cloobeck said with a laugh. “I built a gorgeous place, my dream home, I relish it, and I’m a very generous man. I’m very thoughtful and I’m very kind.”

He added that he would need to talk with his attorney to see if can claw back the $1 million he gave an independent committee supporting Swalwell.

There are many salacious videos of Swalwell’s alleged sexual exploits circulating on social media Sunday night, and it cannot be immediately confirmed whether all of them are legitimate. That being said, it would appear his political career has seen a sudden and utterly brutal demise, and that even his “friends” are jumping ship.

How quickly fortunes can change.
