Trump Rallies in Georgia, Touting the Trump Accounts, New Policies, and Key Economic Wins
On Wednesday, President Trump
held a rally at Wheeler High School in Marietta, GA, to highlight the
administration's economic policies and promote the candidacies of
Republican gubernatorial nominee Rick Jackson and Republican nominee for
United States Senate, Rep. Mike Collins (GA-10).
After remarks from Jackson, Secretary of Education Linda McMahon, and
SBA Administrator Kelly Loeffler, Trump took the stage to rousing
applause and greeted the crowd in Wheeler Auditorium.
Trump began:
I'm
thrilled to be back in the great state of Georgia with thousands of
proud, hardworking American patriots, that's what you are. And with your
help in 2024, we earned more votes than any candidate in Georgia
history, there's never been anything like it.
More
cheers and applause. Trump moved into his remarks, skewering the legacy
media, while the crowd booed as he laid into his jabs.
And
when I say that, I have to be careful, because look at all the fake
news back there, they will correct me. They will say, "He said he earned
more!" If I didn't earn, if I was two votes short, they would say,
"He's lying, he's lying." They are sick individuals, they're the fake
news.
Trump then expressed his love and support for the state, saying:

I have to be careful. No, we had more votes than any candidate in the
history of this great state, and I'm so proud. I love Georgia, I've
always loved it. And every day since, I've been fighting for the people
of Georgia like no president has ever fought before. You're doing well,
and we're going to keep it that way.

Trump continued, acknowledging that he came straight to Georgia from Dover Air Force Base, where he attended the dignified transfer service
and paid homage to four fallen heroes who were killed in action in the
Iran conflict. Trump then spoke about First Lt. Tyler Feehan from Georgia.
After the dignified transfer, Feehan's family - his mother Shari, his
father Stephen, and his uncle David - were headed back home, so
President Trump transported them home on Air Force One.
Trump gave a beautiful homage to Lt. Feehan and to his family.

Trump
updated the audience on the conflict with Iran and the military action
taking place, then moved into the administration's economic wins, with
the Trump Accounts being the focal point.

beautiful, it's beautiful because it takes care of our youth. It's
called the Trump Accounts and it's hot as a pistol.

their childhood and be used for them when they reach 18, or 21. Their
parents, grandparents, employers, and loved ones can contribute up to
$5,000 a year — and with the modest contributions, these accounts will
reach hundreds of thousands of dollars for these young people by the
time they get to — let's say 18, let's say 21. But by the time they're
just young adults, they could be worth hundreds of thousands of dollars,
most likely will be.
And for decades, Washington politicians
gave our children absolutely nothing but debt —but the Trump Accounts,
we are finally seeing and ensuring that every young American gets a
great start in life, and a really fair shot at the American Dream, which
is what we all want, they all aspire to that.
And under this

Fung-a-wing is a legal immigrant from Suriname, who presented his
American story: how he and his wife built a business, and how he opened
Trump Accounts for his four children in order to invest in their future.

President
Trump also took potshots at Sen. Jon Ossoff (D-GA), the radical Left,
and talked about the lies of the Democrat Socialists and the
destructiveness of communism.
Trump said: "Communism is the single greatest threat
to our country and our history. [...] It is the enemy of the free
people everywhere and in the world. It's squalor, it's poverty, it's
death, it's destruction. That's why we declare again today that the
United States of America will never be a communist country."

Trump
concluded with promises to push the Great Healthcare Plan to move
healthcare out of the hands of insurance companies and back to the
American people's control, and pledged once again to pass the SAVE America Act.
"To
defend American elections," Trump said. "And I have to say, Mike
Johnson and Congress have done a great job, but we're having a hard time
in the Senate. The Senate... What they're doing, it's just not right.
"The Senate is the place where you send things when you want them to die."
